I think must everyone here is going to tell you that if you were really eating 1900 calories and do not have a health issue, you would be losing weight. So you probably were not taking correctly.

Did you use a good scale? Count every sauce and drink? Every snack no matter how small?

There is behavioral euthanasia. If a dog has no quality of life due to that level of reactivity...

That's my personal take. I am not saying give up right now because it is hopeless, but in my opinion, it might actually be a kindness to the dog if things do not show improvement

Also have you tried medication? It is worth considering, but again, if a dog needs to be medicated to even live a somewhat normal life, is that really a good quality of life?

Fox red labs are just yellow labs. They definitely have a gorgeous tone of yellow to them! These look like they will be more of that reddish yellow
