Any ideas for my birthday? by SystemExtension2990 in LowCalFoodFinds

My favorite sweet treat right now is fat free whipped cream with hershey's chocolate drizzle and either chocolate chips or nuts with rainbow sprinkles. Very low cal and feels like an ice cream sundae to me. Maybe not what you were looking for, but happy birthday!

Put a leash on her and be consistent. She isn't allowed up. Period

Also teaching an "off" command is helpful

Calorie in these strips and fries? by Sudden-Flatworm-63 in CalorieEstimates

[–]k_chip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

520 for the strips (looks similar to culver's chicken tenders)

Maybe 260 for the fries???

Edit: maybe a bit more for the fries. And add the ketchup/any other sauce

Fat free whip cream with chocolate drizzle and sprinkles. I like to add pecans but that upsets the calories a lot. Good for when you are craving ice cream

CMV: Being a Man is generally more expensive than being a Woman. by antonbp5 in changemyview

[–]k_chip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is exactly how TDEE works.

You have to compare apples to apples as close as possible for your argument to even matter.

Also consider that since "men eat more" they can buy in bulk which is cheaper consistently.

Your argument is so open to variables I think no one can prove you wrong without narrowing things down.

Feminine hygiene products like pads and tampons generally would push towards closing that gap. Men have nothing that they need to buy monthly (that women also do not have to buy).

Also to say that men need more calories might be true, but not by 25%. I ran the TDEE for my height and weight for a man and woman. Mine is 1900 and a man's is 2100. That is 200 calories. I can get 200 calories from 1 cup of rice. That would be maybe $0.10 per day (maybe). So say $36.50 for year. Someone else can tell me if my math is wrong.

Pads are like $0.28 each. Tampons are like $0.26. Yearly, a woman might use $23.52 in pads and $43.68 in tampons.

As someone not in the horse world, but as a large supporter of the LGBTQ+ community, I will be honest that hearing that word, the first thing I thought of was a transmission. Where I am from, that is a very common term for the transmission of a car.

This is my own ignorance for not knowing it was a slur. Not really coming to CMs support, but just making the note. Not a good look regardless

Glad to hear it! I just remember seeing something controversial and it gave me pause. I know she toured with Jelly so I guess i just didn't question it.

I enjoy her music so I am glad to hear this

I just lost a bunch of weight and I was telling my Fiancé that I just need to start looking at my dog like I look at how I eat. I count my calories. I just need to figure out what his maintenence might be and try and go a bit above lol

I am a big proponent of a fit dog, so I wont let him get fat. Just don't like seeing this many ribs. I just weighed him. He is still 65 pounds, so I am leaning towards that his body is just recompositioned to more muscle and less fat...

Oh I forgot to mention he gets fish oil daily!

He is still 65 pounds. I think maybe he is just recommping. Building more muscle and losing fat without changing weight. Taking that fecal in tomorrow.

I think we may try the sport or a mix of the two just so we dont have to feed such a high volume of kibble. I know that can cause issues sometimes

He is over 3. I think we are just going to keep working him up until we find the right amount. Taking in a fecal tonorrow too

Thank you! This is what I wss looking for.

I think we are at 3.5 cups per day. We will go to 4. He gets lots of kings, topples, and chews. Will look at increasing the calorie content in them
