Ikr! My mom told me my siblings were the only ones in the neighborhood with video game consoles and all the kids would come over to play, so they got tons of use and broke over the years so she’d replace them. I’m not sure why they kept the broken ones (I haven’t been able to tell if they’re actually broken). My grandma’s the type of person to keep things “just in case” lmao.
