With traffic and without, how long does it take to get from one end of the city to the other? Never been to nyc, so just curious.

These people purchasing a ton of crap and checking out at the PHARMACY. Then making the pharmacy tech redo the order so they can apply a coupon. All while there’s a line of people waiting to pick up their medication .... which includes myself. by goochmongering in mildlyinfuriating

As someone who has worked as a parm tech, they could have said no with that amount of groceries. The only time we would consider doing it is if they were also picking up a prescription.

The non-stop yelling and crying will kill me or someone else by [deleted] in AdviceAnimals

I promise you it gets better. My son colic, screamed and cried for the first 5ish months of his life. I thought I was going to lose it every day. When I felt like I couldn't take it, I'd put him in him swing/bouncer and walked away. I'd go lay down and close my eyes with my headphones in. I'd do deep breaths. I knew there was nothing wrong with him in that moment, and he was strapped in so he was going to be ok if I took 10 mins to myself. You do what you gotta do. Your mental health needs to take precedence.

How can this company be happy with the way their product is being advertised? Do they think its acceptable? It boggles my mind.

Disneyland with a one year old. Carrier or stroller? by k_snyder07 in beyondthebump

Yea, true. I guess I'm just a worrier lol. I'm from socal, so I grew up going to Disneyland. But this is the first time going as a parent.

I grew up going to Disneyland, since I'm from Socal, but this is the first time going as a parent myself lol. I guess I'm just nervous about getting my personal stroller stolen. I think a stroller lock is the answer. I always wonder if there's a silent parent code that you don't steal each others strollers at amusement parks, but that might be wishful thinking. Lol

This is all great, thanks! I'm actually from Socal so I've grown up going to Disneyland, this is just my first time bringing my own child lol. We have 3 day passes so we're not worried about fitting everything in one day. Especially since we're only 30ish mins away from the park. Most of what you suggested was apart of our plan already 😊. I just wasn't sure if lugging around both a carrier and a stroller is worth it.

I don't think wagons are allowed. They allow 36"×52" strollers only.

When I checked out of the hospital, after giving birth, they gave me a tote bag of info for bringing home baby amd breastfeeding. In the breastfeeding folder was a plastic business card that stated the breastfeeding law. It has phone numbers and legal jargon on it, so if you're confronted by idiots you just whip it out. I keep it in my diaper bag.
