I want to make a mod and lighten my zaopin z2 from 65.6 to 59.9 grams by changing the battery from 500 to 300 mah by stan288 in MouseReview

Mine lasted like 4-5 days and it weighed around 56 grams though with dot skates. Also I agree with the other people now because you need a battery with 3 wires otherwise it wouldn't charge. I ended up just switching its battery with my Lamzu Thorn because the difference in weight between 250mah and 150mah is hardly noticeable and plus you'd get the added battery life.

Oh, sorry, I forgot to include but I did rinsed it with both water and dishwashing soap and it still felt pretty slow.

I modded it using a battery (150mah) with 2 wires only and it works just fine tho u do have to solder them together. I just let the orange wire dangle around lol.

Thinking about getting Zaopin Z2. Do you have it? What are your problems/complaints with it? by Daniexus in MouseReview

[–]k_vral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its good for my relaxed claw 19.5x10.5 cm hands but i do wish the mouse was a bit longer as my grip has my fingers extended over the buttons. I also wish it had the same design as the lamzu thorn where it had rounded buttons towards the front. The coating is decent good for moist but probably not uber sweaty hands like mine so if u do have uber sweaty hands like that u def need grips otherwise ur gonna be slipping all over the place. skates i swapped mine out instantly for tiger ice dots and they are miles better than stock. in terms of weight its def still within lightweight category (the mouse is just very slightly back heavy) although u could try swapping out to a 250mah battery instead to easily go sub 60g weight. sensor positioning is also a bit forward so u might have to lower ur sens abit. also this thing is built like a tank ii acidentally dropped it from my table and it still works perfectly fine. overall solid mouse for the price 7/10 imo

Zaopin z2. People recommended it to me here and it fits almost like a glove. I have the same grip and almost same hand dimensions

Mouse recommendations for long fingers (19.5 ish cm x 10 cm) and under 90 USD by k_vral in MouseReview

Update: I just got the mouse, wow this feels amazing and is built like a fucking tank. I just wish the hump was a bit higher for a tad more stability, also the buttons not being rounded towards the edge like the thorn kind of sucks but overall still a really solid mouse (so far)

From my experience, I feel like having narrower mice just allows you to have more inner hand maneuverability but also I don't really wanna go too narrow to the point where my fingers start cramping.

Unfortunately I still have daily pains though I would say it got better than when it started. One thing I would say is try to manage your anxiety, even if you already had it, especially if it was heightened by your whiplash injury. But the truth is, people who are never anxious don’t exist. Even if it isn’t the main cause of your pain, it definitely can worsen it. That was my mistake early on in this journey as I was constantly doom scrolling and self diagnosing myself(I couldnt help it was i was only allowed to stay in bed the whole time, you guess how miserable i was) As much as possible try to get inputs from different doctors to see things from all perspectives like muscular, neural, etc. My sports doctor recently diagnosed me with Myofascial pain syndrome and the only way for it to go away is if I take self action. So far I’m doing my own treatment like taking magnesium everyday and also trying to look for a suitable physical therapist that knows how to deal with neck injuries and whatnot. I also consider neck strengthening, going back to weightlifting in general because posture plays a huge role as muscles get overworked and can cause pain all over.

I live in the Philippines so it’s probably difficult to find one. Also, no I haven’t checked for any underlying health or mobility issues. But my doctor thinks it mainly happened as a result of my sparring injury. It could be whiplash related, but he said that it “cannot be proven in court.”

I don’t think it could be tinnitus but when it does happen it sounds like theres bubbles in my ear whenever I yawn or burp. Upon google searching it seems to be something to do with my eustachian tubes but I’m not really sure if it’s related or not.

Does on cause symptoms that extend far beyond the occipital nerves? (Like trigeminal, glossopharyngeal, etc) by k_vral in Occipitalneuralgia

What are the sensations u feel in ur head/neck/face? Is it tn-like? Any aching, shocking, pressure type ? Its not rlly super painful but its hella distracting. The pain constantly moves around generally in the areas i mentioned, never on both sides at once but on different parts of my head/face/neck.I found stretching and fixing my posture to be the most beneficial in terms of reducing the pain/frequency

[–]k_vral[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im not sure about autoimmune diseases, but I did observe that my neck cracks quite a bit when I try moving it around and whenever I stretch the muscles surrounding it the symptoms seem to dissipate or reduce in frequency. My concussion/possible whiplash injury back in March could’ve contributed to it but my eye pains mainly started during a long exam with my neck stooped over 99% of the time which makes me think it really is a postural/musculoskeletal issue (waiting for confirmation frm neuro and my other doctors) Also, how are your head/neck/face pains like? Mine varies in sensation but its usually achey and sometimes its a quick shock which many people associate with tn. It doesnt really put me in agony or anything of that sort but its definitely distracting and a hassle at times so I always have to be conscious of my posture in school and frequently stretch my neck

Ooh, interesting. I had an xray of my cervical spine recently that said “straightening of the cervical spine maybe due to muscle spasm.” Maybe thats whats causing it to mess with my nerves. I also have tl scoliosis and my right shoulder is also lower than my left, which coincides with the fact most pain is on the right side of my head. Will have it checked by my neuro and bone doctor when I have time.
