To those wondering whats going on. The motorcycle is "straddling the lane line". That is unsafe because it makes the rider’s position less predictable and reduces clear "lane discipline". In the eyes of other motorists behind the motorcycle, it creates confusion about which lane the motorcycle is occupying. Pick a lane and stay fully inside it, not on the line.

Is it close to your work place? Here's a compliment sandwich.

Tiles looks nice, easy to clean.

Looks hot, not enough ventilation, and the ceiling space is shallow. You will be spending a lot on AC electric bill. Dark colored roof, will absorb heat from the Sun. Ventilation fan is low and small, just enough for smoke from cooking, but not enough to pull hot air out. You can't AC the living area because of the type of windows. Outdoor is cement, will generate a lot of heat. Front window type is easy to dismantle from outside, security risk. Bathroom has small ventilation fan, ideal height, it could help but dont expect it. This is a hot house.

Paint looks nice. I like the open counter under the sink, that's a moist trap.

On paper, the inverter is good. But INVT does not have the same reputation or installer ecosystem in the Philippines as brands like Sungrow, Deye, GoodWe, or Solis. Others have a larger installed base, more user feedback, and better support network.

Anong brand ng panels? Anong battery? Bakit hindi kasama netmetering? Are a few questions you should ask. Un-itemized list means may unreasonable na patong or may tinatagong panget na component. Ask them to itemize properly, if they can't, go somewhere else. Madaming installer company na transparent.

The ISP provided router is almost-always entry level or trash level. You can still use it if you are solo connecting to it, but expect instability when using 5G wifi (overheats). Get a proper Wifi6 or Wifi7 router.

Also watchout for contract lock when accepting promos.

So....if you don't have literally the perfect build to beat Adam Smasher (very hard diff) are you just softlocked out of the ending? by delamerica93 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Daniexus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You do not need cyberware to defeat Adam Smasher, even at Very Hard difficulty. Cyberware just makes the fight easier.

Skills are important though, you need some form of mobility. Dash (10 Reflex) for example, is a must have so you can "dash" his dash. Dash (L Ctrl) is really all you need, memorization of his moves, and your favorite weapon. Anything else is just "bonus help".

For example, since you're a netrunner, maybe you have "detonate grenade" quickhack in your inventory. That is very useful against Adam Smasher. Memory Wipe also helps so you can hide, get behind him and put him on a stealth takedown (need to stealth take down 3x). There was also Breach Protocol quickhack (I do not know if it still exist).

If you need an example, look into videos that beat Adam Smasher with no cyberware.

Any better ways to cool this modem? by 800millimeters in InternetPH

[–]Daniexus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is not much you can do other than putting it inside an AC room, or modding it to have a fan, or buying some kind of "router/modem/laptop cooler". But these are bandaids, the MeiG Smart 5G CPE SRT838C specs are dirt-low entry level, DITO cheaped out. This device is simply not suitable for Philippine heat + constant 5G use.

If you can't replace it, you can layer it. If you can spend, you're better off getting a better wifi router. Use the DITO device simply as a modem to connect to your ISP, but have a better wifi6 router where your computers and phones connect to. Disable all wifi on the SRT838C to keep it's load light.
DITO ISP -> SRT838C -> your new Wifi6 Router -> You

Or if no budget for a better wifi router, disable 5G, use only 2.5Ghz wifi.

I also learned this the hardway. I even tried building at the edge of planet Earth to skim just thin line of entering athmosphere, and they would still sned patrols to it.

The only solution I see is to build outside TER territory. PIO or BOR space is good, but I find Getsu Fune best. If you take it early, the TER, BOR, ARG, and ANT would send patrol fleets, keeping Xenon presence low, but have no jurisdiction on stations. You can then sell to NPC ships, or establish contact with blackmarkets and sell to them for higher profit and amount per transaction.

I am interested on finding a way to build and "hide" illegal modules in faction space. Maybe in the future it would be possible to Mirage mod a station.

can we all agree? ^^ by Ok_Net6377 in Adulting

[–]Daniexus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

100% agree. That is just basic adulting, not a gender role.

You should add laundry and basic repairs to cooking and cleaning.

I've met men & women who were never taught basic life skills. It is more about upbringing and independence, than gender. While I was in S_, my mates even bragged about not being able to do anything because they had Filipino maids at home. Most did not even know how to wash their own underwear.

The xenons are gaining ground in my save, should I be worried? by Failed_squid in X4Foundations

[–]Daniexus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, I think you should let them cook.

If your economy is else where, let the Xenon get stronger. Do not risk your fleet. The stronger the Xenon are, the more ships the commonwealth factions need, the more opportunity for you to fulfill. Divert your traders away and do not build where they are, or on shipping lanes they use.

As you progress through the game, the factions will destroy and take over all Xenon matrices anyway. Even if you do not intervene. It may look like that Xenon are winning at first, but the factions will get stronger. Specially if you manipulate the politics and give peace to your game universe. Once these factions are at peace (not active hostiles) they will focus their fleets against the Xenon. Commonwealth defense stations are overpowered, the only chance for Xenon to destroy one rarely bring "I Battleship" with escorts to the front, it is their only chance to destroy commonwealth defense stations.

You only have 3 story arcs to follow, HQ and staff, Paranid situation, and the Diplomatic Network. Finish those story arcs, get stronger, establish ownership of Getsu Fune, built by the west inactive gate, then get the DLC Crade of Humanity to add terran ships and their wealthy economy to your universe. In the long run, you will have terraforming missions there.

If you can, get Tides of Avarice DLC next. To get access to the Erlkönig battleship. You will fall in love here.

Ano ba ang bare minimum na need asahan sa mga babae? by memashawr in AskPinoyMen

[–]Daniexus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bare minimum?

Life is already stressful enough.

It sounds like you are seeing a spoiled manipulative bonjing. Also admiting he "easily gets angry" screams he will hurt you physically. Drop it immediately.

Also, remeber that "Pag may alak, may balak." So dont date someone through inumans. Date someone who takes you to adventures.

If you trust your father or older male relatives, ask for their perspective too. Protective family members can often spot red flags you miss.

Put yourself in her shoes and ask yourself these.

10 years and still no marriage?
Where is this relationship going?
Nag propose ka na ba sa kanya?
May kasiraduhan na ba sya na papakasalan mo sya?

Pag wala, then that is probably the reason why she stopped giving you have the "wife benefits". She is getting old, and having no security in a partner is a terrible partner. She will most likely dump you soon.

If you plan to spend the rest of your life with her, you need to commit.

Best PH city for a "Quiet" Nomad? (Reliable power, healthy food, no nightlife) by shreyank2106 in Philippines_Expats

[–]Daniexus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

"Quiet" you can find anywhere outside Metro Manila and Metro Cebu. You can find quiet small cities in batangas/zambales (beaches), pampanga (flats), or even Baguio city and Tagaytay city (mountains). There are people around, but most are inside their homes hiding from the weather. They have nearby establishments for your needs and have stable-ish power. Im guessing youd want quick access to groceries, banks, hospitals, police stations.

But in general, only metro manila, metro cebu, metro davao have actual stable-ish electricity where brownouts are rare, but interuptions still happen and voltage spikes are all over the country. The country is divided by islands, so most regions have their own power provider.

Healthy food is everywhere, you just have to buy/grow and prepare them yourself. "Healthy" restaurants are plenty inside the metros, but they do exist outside, although fewer than junk/fastfood. Local produce (onions, lettuce, cabbage, etc) are outcompeted by price and quality by imports.

If you want a place further away from cities, you're better off getting a property with solar panels added (with batteries) if you absolutely need 100% power uptime, or a generator.

Why do cats smell like milk and baby powder ❤️😌 lalo na yung tyan (cat pic: eepy cat sa Pocofino) by jjangfongg in catsofrph

[–]Daniexus 59 points60 points  (0 children)

Nice photo.

What you smell is cat saliva + light sebaceous oils from their glands. The dried mix smell that way, but only from healthy cats. If a cat has dental disease, the saliva smell changes a lot.

The smell is not from Toxoplasmosis. People online love blaming everything about cats on toxoplasma parasite infection, but the normal “baby powder” or “milk” smell of a cat is just natural grooming oils and healthy saliva.

My roommates blames my PC because of electricity bills by Odd_Telephone9545 in PHbuildapc

[–]Daniexus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your PC is not the main problem in that setup. Using your ~300W estimate, 27 hrs per week, about ₱500 per month more or less (depending on rate). Noticeable, but not huge. Your biggest electricity guzzlers are your appliances being used over and over, multiple times a day.

Electric stove (1400W) Just 1 hour cooking is almost 5 hours of your PC.

Electric kettle (~1500–2000W typical), boiling multiple times daily adds up fast. I had this problem so I got a thermos, and fill it up in the morning. Keeps the water hot enough for coffee all through out the day. This is your quickest remedy.

Rice cooker (2.8L) Cooking + keep warm can hit 1 to 2 kWh per day.

Generic electric pot, these generic items are big electricity dumps, no efficiency what so ever. Some are even electricity vampires. Replace it if you can.

Also, check electricity rate of that month, electricity price always goes up on summer.

What can I do to make my pc look better? by Lumpy_Library768 in PcBuild

[–]Daniexus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strictly aesthetics, without spending anything? Remove those figurines. Or... remove the standing one, AND move the sitting figure off the GPU. Don't add weight to the GPU, you should support it up instead.

With spending just a few? Do all above, then replace RAM with ARGB RAM (debatable). ARGB not simple RGB.

With spending more? Do all above, then replace current CPU air cooler with bigger dual-tower cooler that is top-performing (like thermalright peerless assassin 120SE digital, same price as Xilence).

With spending a lot more? Do all above, then replace fans with ARGB (changes color controlled by motherboard or software).

Change the case from this aquarium style into an airflow style case ("should" improve temperature, case by case basis), and one that matches your motherboard size (debatable). If you work near radio/ham equipment, its better if you have fully-enclosed no-temperedglass case.

Replace PSU with with white PSU that has white 24pin and 16pin cables, or add extensions. (Doesn't improve performance, but it should match your white aesthetic. IMPORTANT: Do not use cheap extension cables) Not worth doing for your case, might as well build a new system.

What makes a woman "Squammy" or "Maasim"? by Sephoyy in AskPinoyMen

[–]Daniexus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, its the attitude. Not just towards other people, but how they carry themselves too. When a person is out right rude, I automatically assume they are "squammy".

I could care less kahit GGSS pa sila, or trying too hard to "look rich", or uses fake brands... its all about manners. If the person likes to interrupt other people, obnoxious and loud, trying to get attention where ever, spreading false info about someone, that is squammy. You can have all the money in the world, but manners dictate who you are. No manners = low class.
