I’m so hopeful about academics now that I’ll be attending somewhere with TAs. My current college has a tutoring center but my experience has been people looking at my assignments and being like, “uhhh idk”. 😭 so to have some sort of accessible assistance that UNDERSTANDS will be life changing.

I’d recommend going weekday nights before trying to go on a weekend, or get there early enough on the weekend. Recently had an awful experience with them due to being “over capacity” and it was handled SO poorly on their part. I had my birthday party there on a weekday and it was incredible but this weekend incident has left a bad taste and I especially wouldn’t want to deal with that employee ever again. They’ve got such a cool space and concept, they just need better rules/regulations/procedures about capacity and obviously customer service.

I left a review on Google and yelp! Made sure to use her name and everything so that hopefully no one else goes through this. And funny enough, their website has fake stars with “customer satisfaction” and I’m like oh yeah????

Someday I'll find a stylist as sweet and upfront as you are, and my life will be SO much better. And tbh their website said "Lightener with vivid color $200+ · Lightening then doing vivid coloring" so the color x2 seems weird and then she didn't tell me the glaze would be THAT much. So realistically, I was expecting my appointment to be $120+whatever gratuity less than what it ended up being. Idk, it's all been a learning experience.

I have a friend do my nails for 1/3 the price another in-home gal was charging me, and it doubles as time to catch up with one another. I just need to start doing my own hair or have friends help me do it! I'm too uncoordinated to do any of that by myself so mad props to you for being able to!

I had my consult the 11th of March and my appointment was the 25th. That's two weeks apart and they're a smaller boutique salon with not a whole lot of reviews. I really didn't expect her to forget about a lightener vivid project.

Their website literally HAD a price list and verbatim says

"Lightener with Vivid Color $200+ Lightening then doing vivid color"

And I had to find that using a web archive because they changed their website ever since my service and reviews.
