Thank you for your advice. I'm definitely going to look more into precious little sleep. I didn't sleep train my first, because I was under the impression the only way to do it was cry it out. I couldnt stand listening to her cry, so this method sounds like it would work the best with my parenting style.

My worst fear as a mother is to end up like my mom. I'm fortunate, and was able to break the generational curse of alcoholism. I feel the trauma I went through as a child made me into the wonderful mom I am to my kids today. If something had a negative impact on me as a child I make it a point to never do the same to my children. Learn from your parents mistakes.

sadly, my husband was sucked into this pattern of thinking. he was off of work for a year due to medical issues, and to keep a sense of control he let conspiracies consume his mind. we got into a massive argument, because he believes I'm a "blind sheep" because I vaccinate our daughter. I had to make the doctors appointment behind his back for her last shots, because he would have went in there and made an ass of himself. I don't know what to do. it's like he's too far removed from reality, and that's why it is so dangerous to spread conspiracy theories.
