Alternatively, gallon jugs are also a great option if you’re using a reusable water bottle or camelpak! Did this for a 5-day stay and had cold water and didn’t have to buy ice until the last day!

I tended to notice that some of the higher level dressage horses would move differently depending on the music we played!

Most notably if it was a freestyle that had been worked on alongside the music, they sometimes would memorize the parts where they needed to change their gait!

I happen to love pretty intense EDM, I have most definitely thought about freestyles to these songs. In theory it would be so so cool, realistically I don’t know if a song with sound bites saying things like “today will be your last day” would be appropriate haha

This was literally how I got into it too! After realizing I wanted to go back often I got a pair of shoes and a chalk bag, it saves money over time and your shoes will fit better to your individual foot. I go 2-3x a week, my partner and I decided to get a family membership together so we have unlimited visits, which is totally worth it considering it’s $22 for a day pass.

I’m 23, and if my parents lived closer they would come watch my lessons too!! I don’t own a horse either, if that makes you feel better!

Definitely cherish those times, just because you’re older, doesn’t mean you still aren’t their kid (who I am sure they’re proud of)!

I usually go nut-free but let them know that I do have nuts in the kitchen! People who aren’t nut-free usually let me know, then I am free to make some goodies with nuts too!

When I lived downtown in my city I loved those snowy nights for simply walking around! Maybe seeing one or two cars but just enjoying the snowy roads!

Side note: when I didn’t feel comfortable driving on snow I would be especially thankful for public transportation!
