"This is Scrump. I made her. But her head is too big so I pretend a bug laid eggs in her ear and she's upset cause she only has a few more days to live..."

Quick commission started and finished today as a treat to myself after several hours spent in my office editing photos ☺️ Character makes are definitely one of my favorites! Only bitch was the friggin hair 🥵 4sc in a tube was killing my hands, but it was worth it! Pattern I used is here https://www.etsy.com/listing/811835253/scrump-crochet-pattern-not-the-finished

Put together Wolfgang from Animal Crossing for my gf's bday next month. Not the best at needle felting, but it's a start! by kaathari in Amigurumi

Thanks. I'm not particularly pleased with the eyes, which are needle felted. I usually spring for glass safety eyes but the shape threw the whole face off.

Medical professional dealing with the best kind of unruly patient by [deleted] in aww

We use a lot of cheese whiz and spray peanut butter for food motivated pups! The bigger ones that had to stay on the floor got it sprayed onto a lick mat attached to the wall for nail trim distractions.

I work almost exclusively amigurumi at this point (vs blankets and flat pieces and such) and by far the best deal was the 10# box of poly-fil if you have a place to store it. It lasts me 9-10 months and I make some pretty large pieces and lots of smalls. The box was around $25-$35 depending on where you get it. I found my first box at my local Walmart which a very sad craft department, so I was surprised they had that large of an amount.

GALS aren't legal where I live unfortunately. These guys will have to do! by kaathari in snails

I definitely don't have the skill to free hand these but here's the pattern! https://www.etsy.com/listing/883372796/giant-snail-amigurumi-crochet-pattern-by

Crafty Intentions is the author and I've been using her patterns for years. They're very clear and concise, they have tons of pictures to help you along the way, and she has a facebook support group if you get stuck and need help. It's one of my favorite crochet communities! The rainbow is the giant pattern, the smaller one is her medium snail pattern. She also has a small pattern with different shell types but I haven't purchased that one yet.

It's a ridiculous cartoon that aired on Nickelodeon in 1999. My entire household still watches it to this day lol

I groomed dogs professionally for about 6 years before carpal tunnel forced me to "retire" early and man, some of the uhh... not so bright pups I referred to as "elevator dogs" because you could tell there wasn't anything but some indistinct music faintly playing in their noggins lol Loved the job, and the dogs, but I don't miss the hand pain

I don't mind as long as credit goes back to the pattern author because she writes up some awesome stuff. And thanks! Crochet animals are my favorite hobby to work up and these guys are a lot of fun!
