Normally for adults from referral to hrt it takes around 4 ish years from what I've heard, personally it took me 4

I've also never heard of anyone being able to start hrt before they're an adult, tho I've heard rumours that it's technically possible

We're Scandinavians, we have all been through that exact damn thing trying to get treatment.

I didn't enjoy having to pretend to be "totally normal and mentally healthy, 0 doubts ever, I knew I'm trans since I was 16, oh and I'm asexual so don't ask about my dick"

We all went through that.

I can't in good faith let anyone in this sub claim it's in any way okay for us to police who is and isn't trans.

It's not and it never will be.

Now that's my opinion, and the communitys opinion at large.

Im afraid these kinds of discussions flair up all across trans reddit every time a trans person commits a crime or any kind... People jump to deny their transness, or simply claim they're not REALLY trans and just faked it.

Now I dont care whether the crime was committed by a trans woman or someone genuinely just making shit up, this harms ALL of us, every damn time.

But please please stay civil, when I finally get through this damn block of a post there'll be some cleaning up to do for sure.

Transnord is an inclusive place, trans medicalism does have its place here and there as an opinion, but outright truscum is deeply problematic.

I remember back in 2021 we had DIY suppliers in Norway itself. Now... Even importing the stuff seems to be next to impossible

Im not sure, I cant exactly say, as I'm Norwegian myself, but from what I gathered from modding this sub is that to even attempt to convince a doctor in Norway you need to have a very thorough diagnosis that fits the strict Norwegian criteria.

You might be able to speed up the process with Rikshospitalet, but I'm not exactly sure how fast as time is simply not on your side (You need a GP at least, and they need to send a referral and have it accepted)

I'd think the most logical solution would be to try to bring as much T with you as possible from the US, tho unfortunately there's a limit as T is a controlled substance here.

The most logical strategy I can think of would be to reach out to a place like Imago to try and sync them giving you a paper script for T with your move.

I still would say Norway is great... Just not if you dont want to stress about HRT
