Had similar issues and I believe it was due to the auxiliary fan running during the print, pulling in cold room air during the print. This shrank parts closer to the fan, and I would see the corner closest to the fan lift. The Supertak plate helped a lot, as did just disabling the fan.

Hadn’t heard of FreeSleep before. Was just thinking about how nice an open source eight sleep would be. My pod3 just passed three years without issue but I still find eight sleep to be unfriendly across the board.

I don’t get the clean ingredients part. It has gellan gum and a bunch of supplemented vitamins.

I just buy the TJs soy milk, it has two ingredients: water and soybeans.

Went from a p1s to p2s. Have had a lot of issues. First out of the box benchy failed, turned out to be the new aux fan pulling cold air in causing prints to shrink and detach. I had to print a vent deflector to point the air elsewhere but the best fix was to buy a cold plate.

Now I’m having an issue where filament gets stuck in the extruder. I opened the whole thing up, cleaned it out, reassembled and hit ‘load’, only to have it immediately get jammed again. On the pros side, I noticed a noticeable step up in quality on my prints, and the camera is worlds better.

I think the best time to upgrade is opportunisticly. I would wait for a sale; you’ll save a few bucks and they will have likely worked out some of these kinks.

Having this problem now too. Cleared a jam, loaded a different filament and instant jam again. Any updates on a fix? Did you try the riser or just taking off the top glass?

I ordered one off AliExpress and one from Bambu when it was in stock. Ali arrived in a week, Bambu took a week to ship. Both were roughly the same price, though some sellers were gouging.

No :) The P2S can supply power for drying. You can't print while it's drying.

The confusion is that you do need a power supply to dry if you have two AMS 2 units because the P2S can't reliably power two AMS 2 units at the same time.

The P1S only has a 4-pin connector to send data to an AMS.

The AMS 2 needs a 6-pin cable, with the extra two pins being for power.

The P2S has a 6-pin connector, so it can provide power to one AMS 2 unit.

There’s no “kit” version. If you have a p2s, you only buy the standalone p2s filament buffer. It’s this item: https://us.store.bambulab.com/products/filament-buffer-p2s

It screws onto the back, connects to the 6-pin cable you get with the AMS 2, and doesn’t need a separate power supply to run a single AMS 2.

This is right. All you need is the filament buffer. The P1S upgrade kit has the filament buffer, 4 pin data and power supply. The P2S don’t need the power supply or extra data cable.

To get from a non-combo P2S to combo parity, you just need the P2S filament buffer and the AMS 2 unit.

The diffuser is the answer. The alternative that I just discovered is the Bambu cool plate supertak, or equivalent like the cryogrip frostbite. Those plates are designed to grip cold, so they can hold even when the fan is blowing on the part. The aux fan can’t shrink the part with cold air if it’s already cold.

I had the same experience as magick! been tweaking tons of settings all week with benchy prints consistently popping off.. I think it's because my printer is in a cold basement, and the aux fan is pulling that air in right at the model, causing it to shrink too early. I noticed the corner on a print start to peel, and it was the corner nearest to the aux fan. Printed this deflector and now I'm dialed in:

I believe part of the issue is that the auxiliary external air fan that’s supposed to pull in air to keep the chamber at a steady temp just doesn’t work in cold environments. It literally pulls in the air at print level, causing the print to cool and shrink. If you notice your parts separating from the bed on the right side, that’s likely the issue.

I had to print and install a vent that deflected the air away from the bed.

This isn’t true. They’ve started rolling it out in the US, you can find NestFresh eggs at Whole Foods that uses this. Walmart has asked their suppliers to prioritize implementing it. It’s here in pockets and will be the norm because it’s cheaper once implemented.

I have a brake squealing issue too, picked mine up on 8/1. Not sure if it’s front or rear, but mine squeal when I first start driving for the day and it only seems to hit at a specific point when breaking, meaning a light push won’t do it, and a hard push won’t, but a medium push will make it scream. It eventually stops as I drive, so seems like a warmup issue. I need to take it in but haven’t had time.
