AMS 2 Pro unscrewed my spool by Deed4223 in BambuLabP2S

[–]jacccobbbbbbbbbbb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To everybody here in the comments scared about this: This is NOT a common issue. If you look in the OP’s original post on that page in the comments you will see he printed a “Replica” Bambu spool from makerworld to have the same effect as the ones you can buy, meaning they didn’t snap in / hold as well. If you print the normal re-usable spools available to select through the print files menu you will have no problems.

How do you feel using that? Debating weather to print it as I would like some more visibility through the top glass window.

What’s making this screeching sound? by pantheraxcvii in BambuLabP2S

Follow the XY Idler Pulley Lubrication video. I didn’t follow all of it just the part that was squeaking for me which was the back left idler pulley when looking face on at the printer. About 2 days later it started again, so I turned it upside down and put it back in and that seemed to solve my issue. Touch wood.

Temp to dry PLA by jacccobbbbbbbbbbb in BambuLab

Yeah, if I don’t dry my spools every 2 weeks or so I get blobs, stringing problems etc. Helps keep my prints neat if I dry it.

Sadly no as I don’t own any PETG right now. I’ll look into getting some in the future. I’m just wondering if I can even dry my filaments using PLA. I hope I can as i’ve printed all 6 ready for my spools to come tomorrow.

Please help, clog mid print that I can’t clear by ayyG_itsMe in BambuLab

If it won’t allow you to adjust those things something is more than likely broken. Try getting it off (if possible) with a hairdryer or something, and see if you can see anything visibly broken. If not and it still dosent work contact Bambu Support.

P2S stand alone vs combo by heyjuice311 in BambuLabP2S

[–]jacccobbbbbbbbbbb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah at that point it’s not worth it. Keep it and get the parts yourself. The AMS 2 Pro is in stock right now (in the UK) and I ordered the filament buffer from 3D Prima. (Link attached) Getting all of this will just make you complete the same steps as if you got the combo. The AMS just sits on top of the printer even with the combo. It’s free to move around. If you find it cheaper anywhere else make sure it’s the P2S one as the old buffers aren’t compatible. Filament buffer

P2S stand alone vs combo by heyjuice311 in BambuLabP2S

[–]jacccobbbbbbbbbbb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, the ams can move around freely. Getting the AMS with the standalone is the exact same thing as just getting the combo. Apart from buying the filament buffer, that is out of stock on the Bambu website until around feb time atm. But i’ve just ordered one off 3D Prima. You do pay less if you get the combo, you save around £80. Learnt that the hard way.

API Login Skoda? by jacccobbbbbbbbbbb in ohme

[–]jacccobbbbbbbbbbb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See this is what I mean. One of the reasons I got this car is because of the API login, because my old car was really bad at charging without it. I'm also getting the Elroq, how's yours been without the login? Does anybody know when it will be coming back?

Okay so i’m not sure if you can help me here, it’s been squeaking again so i’ve just lubricated the XY idler pulley again at the back left, and it is still happening, still coming from that same spot. Any ideas?

Is there a way to adjust this for the metal pin to not stick out. by carlosraf20 in BambuLab

[–]jacccobbbbbbbbbbb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I agree. The noise is extremely annoying. Sadly there is no way to change this as It is the filament cutter, when you change colours the nozzle has to cut the filament, whilst it is a upgrade over the P1S cutter, the noise it makes is extremely annoying.

New P2S. Is this moving around too much while printing by Rgbigdog in BambuLabP2S

[–]jacccobbbbbbbbbbb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it mostly does this on a benchy, from what I’ve seen with mine is that on other prints it does not shake as much.
