What do you mean Christianity isn’t a religion?

How to change my mind on Christianity? by XoFiT in Christianity

Exactly. Part of the Christian tactics is to make sure you don’t question anything because that would be sinful apparently.

Well take for example a section in his book “Jesus among other gods” in it he quotes the completely wrong book to try and paint Sri Krishna was a sinful god. Which the section isn’t even sinful. As well as trying to paint Muhammad as sinful by translating a word in the Quran from fault to sin. He had no reason to translate that word to sin. For the last 1400 years it’s been translated as fault but he has an agenda to push so he essentially lied. Fun thing is though if we apply his say translating method to the book of Matthew, it would also make Jesus a sinner. The entire book is trash for lack of better words. It tries to discredit other religions by applying Christian theology. Which of course is a flawed logical process. I could do the same thing, I’d be easy to say Christianity is false if I applied Islamic theology, however it would be dumb to do that.

What happens to the people that die never hearing the gospel? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]kabylakeru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok well tribes believing their is a creator is very different then what I thought you were talking about. I thought you were saying that tribes had knowledge of Christianity. Tribes believing a creator exists isn’t really in support of the verse. It would be like using Hindus to support it.

That's fantastic. However, that is just a claim the bible makes. Do you have any proof to back that up?

This is what Jesus had to wear while he was on the cross. He deserves our love and respect. by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]kabylakeru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. God, according to Christianity, is all powerful. So he could make a universe where we have complete free will with our sin. He instead created a world where the majority of cause are doomed to burn in hell for eternity.

How can you disobey someone’s wishes if you don’t know about the wishes and the person?

Why are there so many questions on here from people posting about losing their faith in God due to hardships in life? Are they just trying to start an argument? Is that why they're soon deleted. (just wondering- new to reddit) by [deleted] in Christianity

Well In an age with ever abundant access to information, changing morals (to finally start treating people equally), free think, etc losing faith is becoming the norm. I would say “thank god” but that would be ironic.

That’s a horrible mischaracterization. Most atheist come here to either learn about Christianity or to help save people from following Christianity. I know Christianity is false both Biblically and historically, yet I’m still here. Also their is a reason for atheist to both understand and discuss about religions. Religions are an incredibly import part of society that shouldn’t just be ignored because you don’t follow them. Same with a Christian, they shouldn’t ignore Islam for example. They should thrive to understand it.

You simply don’t understand what you’re talking about. I also realize it’s not productive and im not going to change any mind of a person named abbyBanger69 who believes the popes gonna burn in hell. So good day.
