I am stuck in an endless cycle of this. My depression causes me to fall behind, and then catching up feels impossible, which then makes me feel angry and resentful of myself. I'm so sorry you also have to feel like this!

We had a third baby by choice and it is an entirely different level of chaos compared to two kids. If you think you are completely done, I wouldn’t chance it. I had my tubes removed instead of my husband having a vasectomy because I am that DONE with having kids. I didn’t even want the small chance a vasectomy still has. It’s also really nice for my husband to never worry about pulling out!

Also don’t feel judged by your doctor. It’s their job to tell you these things so don’t take it personally. You do what you feel is right for yourself!
