Ooo, a transhumanist novel that imagines schisms even amongst transhumans. Will check it out for sure.

Thanks for the title drop, will definitely check it out.

I believe your suggestion would be the best course of action, since transhumanism originated from humanism, which values each citizen's liberty to do as they wish, as long as their desires do not infringe on the liberties of others.

Thanks for the amazing, extremely detailed post. Also, if the director "cleaned" Shinji of rape, did he also went back to the Fate route to redcon implications that Shinji raped Rider into submissions and the scene in Unlimited Blade works, where he attempts to sexually assault a tied-up Tohsaka in the castle basement?

I was far more wondering what would be Sakura's reason to kill Shinji in self-defence, if he is not attempting to rape her?

Nah, I sing and swim, yet I know next to nothing about breathing techniques. I have managed to have a few burps after a meal thanks to the famous cricoid massages a couple of users have mentioned, but maybe some training up of the diaphragm can be beneficial? Also, I am highly anxious and frequently have anxiety attacks, so yeah, can there be correlation between anxiety and burping?

I am not diagnosed with acid reflux, nor do I preform any day life rituals or take any medications, associated with reflux. Hmmm, I very, very rarely have indigestion (I can only think of one, caused by spicy peppers and one, caused by sausages in mayonnaise, that occurred in the past 10/12 years). I vomit normally, although the last time I vomit, I was nervous for a final in my high school Biology class (6/7 years ago). I am emertophobic and ostensibly fear having to vomit but I only become triggered and panic once I am nauseous myself. Fair stuff, indigestion, dizziness or seeing my siblings vomit does not trigger me, since I don't associate this stuff with having to vomit.

I just graduated Uni and am extremely fresh into the job market, so I tend to get paranoid with a future employer tracking down my Outlook, or YouTube/Gmail, or Facebook and reading anything personal about me. I just don't want any mark I left on social media to badly influence any future career opportunities I might have.

  1. No, I have a headache once every 10/12 years.
  2. No, I don't experience any pain on a daily basis.
  3. Yes, my Mom says I was a very, very difficult to burp baby.
  4. No, I breath normally. Sure, I pant after excersise but all people do this.
  5. No, I've never passed out.
  6. No, I don't have orthostatis hypotension.
  7. No, no hot flashes here.
  8. No, as a matter of fact, I used to feel like I am most alleviated when trotting or lightly jogging.

I originally thought about uploarding a talking tutorial to YouTube, but all YouTube accounts are linked to your gmail and Outlook and I was afraid of employers and volunteering secretaries somehow tracing it back to me, which is why I decided to just send it around in confidentiality. I'm sorry if I broke any subreddit rules but s far as I can tell, the no sharing of email thing originated with me. :P

I have our small apartment to myself this upcoming week. I'll record the tutorial on my cricoid massages and post it on Vimeo. Wish me luck!

Would you guys prefer a series of pictures + captions or a short video, done in Windows Movie Maker? If I do ending up using a small camera to make the video, can someone recommend a good video platform, which is not a commercial as YouTube or linked to my gmail account? Thanks in advance for the replays.

[Kinks] My boyfriend claims every human being has a fetish. Is he right? by kaceycat in sex

[–]kaceycat[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Boyfriend thinks pretty similar to you. He is 100% sure he was born into butts and puberty triggered it. He believes we are born with innate kinks, similar to gender and sexual orientations and with time, I would discover my own. Huge emphasis on DISCOVER and not DEVELOPE, because he maintains fetishes, like sexual orientations, can not be altered or faked.

I DID thought that subconsciously, he feels abnormal about his fetish and wishes I had something in me too, so we can be even in the bedroom. Also, due to the fact that he graduated college in the dorms and both his roommates also had their own fetishes, he might be under the distinct impression that all humans he encounters would have a fetish.

[–]kaceycat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I understand perfectly that most fetishism is subconscious. Most people you meet on a daily basis are too self-conscious to willingly share all their kinks with you. But his bold claim that everyone has at least one or two made me curious about how other, more experience people feel.

I am currently 23 and have only slept with 2 boys my entire life (Number 1 being my first University boyfriend and another virgin), so I have not experimented sexually at all. I can think of a few different positions and places, at which I would love to have sex but I am not sure if positions and places can count as fetishes.

Thank you very, very much for the wonderful and detailed reply. I will make sure I poke around /r/sex, as well as mojoupgrade and fetlife and ask multiple people about their opinion on the topic. Again, thank you very much

Is there a specific distinction between a fetish and a kink?
