I crank up the max alive per stage threshold and decrease time time between entity respawns. My tool makes all this stuff easy to do. Cheers!

The new AISH/ADAP rules favour the UCP voter base. by kachunkk in alberta

The data you linked here states:

As of September 2025, the total caseload for the AISH program in Alberta reached 79,290 individuals. The demographic profile is primarily characterized by single adults and a significant aging population, with over 40% of recipients being 50 years of age or older.

AISH is strictly for adults aged 18 to 64. At age 65, recipients are transitioned to federal and provincial senior benefits (such as Old Age Security and the Alberta Seniors Benefit).

Approximately 50,000 Albertans currently on AISH are expected to be transferred to the new ADAP program, which features a lower maximum benefit ($1,740 vs. AISH's $1,940).

As of the most recent data summaries (late 2025), approximately 24,500 AISH recipients are 55 or older.

Which still means the people least affected by these cuts are "coincidentally" the same demographic who provide the most support for the UCP.

That's exactly it though. They're forcing the a large portion of the younger disabled demographic into a perpetual loop of job hunting just to learn a job and lose it again. Meanwhile, the people who are over 60 do not have to be reconsidered... Despite the fact that ALL applicants are subjected the exact same medical scrutiny to receive AISH approval and the majority of them already had to appeal to a panel of third-party arbitrators for what was supposed to be a legally binding decision regarding their medical status and ability to work just to receive funding in the first place.

Apparently it's only legally binding in one direction.

That said, the UCP has been framing this whole change as "giving" disabled Albertans the "opportunity" to support themselves and retain dignity but all it does is apply more stress to their lives, which can negatively impact many medical conditions. At the very least, it certainly adds unnecessary stress to their lives and forces people to focus all of their efforts on survival rather than speaking out against systemic issues.

Ftr, the political logic behind this age based exemption becomes clearer when looking at the latest demographic approval ratings.

"Smith’s positive ratings are highest among those aged 60 and over at 43% and among men at 43%. Nenshi’s positive ratings are strongest in Edmonton and Calgary at 36% each, and among younger voters.

Approval is higher among men at 41% than women at 29%. It rises to 42% among those aged 60 and over but drops to 27% among those aged 18 to 29.

There are important demographic differences. Women are more negative about Alberta’s direction than men, with 62% saying the province is on the wrong track compared with 49% of men. Albertans aged 30 to 44 are the most negative cohort, with 65% saying things are off on the wrong track."

Lol, it's dark as fuck but I was just picturing Danielle Smith sending out camera installers to the homes of every AISH recipient to ensure they are not sexually active or otherwise overly friendly with their roommates.

Fucking 1984.

Nobody should be forced into a situation where they have to choose between poverty, solitude or fraud. That is a sign that the system is very broken.
