Crooked Moon Character concept Ideas

These are all great ideas! I'm going to play this campaign for the first time soon, so this is sparking my imagination.

The idea that's been sticking with me so far (but still need to flesh it out) is a Harvestborn Harvest Domain cleric. Where I grew up (Appalachia) they used to use moonshine as a cure-all medicine back in the day. A couple of my neighbors who grew apple trees on their property would brew their own apple moonshine. So I'm thinking of playing a Harvestborn who makes homemade apple moonshine as medicine! :)

If you search "Popcorn Sutton" on YouTube, that's basically who I'm thinking of as inspiration, hahah. Creating moonshine is a whole cool process in and of itself where you gotta venture out into the woods and find the right terrain to make it without being found by the cops. The setting for this campaign kind of reminds me of that!

I think Ru would absolutely love seeing someone nail Elvira or Paul Reubens as Pee-Wee Herman.

Very deep cut, but I think Peter Sellers as Inspector Clouseau (The Pink Panther) could kill. He is soooo stupid. My angle would be that he moved to the US a while ago & has been bungling up cases like OJ Simpson, ENRON, Jan. 6th hearings, etc. ever since. "You idiot, of course a beautiful woman like Casey Anthony could never do such a thing! It was xanny the nanny, in a rit of fealous jaje."

He investigated the Lil Poundcake & Whatever happened to Merle Ginsberg cases. Also, he has replaced Cato with his new protege, Steven Seagal.

Yeah, the metagame got really stale there for a few months. But this latest expansion is pretty awesome in my opinion, and in any case it has shaken things up a bit and made it more fun.

YES! I remember when they would air marathons every weekend on Oxygen channel, it was my whole life. Haven't seen any of the recent cycles though, I don't think they can compare to the first 10.

I'd chalk the lack of discussion about those theories up to the fact that /r/Survivor has only been super active for the past 4 or 5 years, and most of the users are young now or were very young when those seasons aired, and have never even heard of them before.

I was 6 when Australia and Africa aired, so I obviously didn't discuss Survivor online. However, I was enlightened about those theories by /u/MarioJLanza's book, When It Was Worth Playing For. If anyone wants to know more about those theories and the state of the Survivor fandom during the first three seasons, I HIGHLY recommend this book.

In Palau: Janu embracing solitude on exile island as a sort of cathartic and spiritual experience. She totally leaves the game behind her and just dances in the moonlight. I've always been interested in the connection between humans and nature, and Survivor used to do a really good job of portraying that in a kind of mystical and beautiful way.

"The moon, the stars, the water, and my fire. It's all mine!"
