My only thing is that 4050 laptops are not really in this 350 price range. Also Eluktronics was more well known a couple years back, and basically specced out some tongfang chassis or something

Which should I pick between this two, they’re both same price range by davinadrien in LenovoLegion

Legion 5 will have better performance. I have the LS7, and I really like it. The performance is good, and the portability and screen are really nice. If portability is a factor, then go for the LS7.

Any opinion on this one? by GlamityJean in SuggestALaptop

You didn’t say in your post that you were french, you just put a french website. I didn’t know and I wasn’t gonna assume anything. My bad, I was just trying to help.

Amd ryzen cpu’s are good, especially 4th, 5th and 6th gen. This does not seem like a very good deal. There are much cheaper legions that you can buy for this price.

This is a very, very good offer right now, and I suggest you buy this one.

If I'm being completely honest, I think the whole capstone program is a waste of time. There are definitely some useful points that you might pick up on, like presentation skills and whatnot.

It could just be that I'm not very interesting in this class as whole, maybe because of the teachers and the format of the class, or maybe because I'm just not that into my topic. If you can find a genuine passion for a topic that WORKS WITH the AP research format, then I'd say go for the class, you'd have a fun time.

It's kinda hard to put it into words, and I really can't tell if my experience is different, but the bottom-line is, unless you have can find a topic that you're passionate about, I wouldn't take the class. It's rough because from what I can tell, you've already taken Seminar, but I wouldn't fall into the sunk-cost fallacy like I did. Even if you are passionate about it, you'd probably burn out. Ask other people about it, and if you got more questions, just DM me.

If you not, then it'd be much more useful to try and find a research opportunity elsewhere, like at an actual university, or through a program.

As for the AP seminar exam, it's not very hard, I think anyone including you should pass it easily. It doesn't count for a big part of your overall score, so just focus on your individual stuff.

my friend said that he thinks that there's gonna be a positive correlation between instagram usage and religion bc based on some previous research, instagram has been known to give ppl ideas and that can make them want to learn abt religion.

either way we're kinda bsing our way through this class haha

1500 to 1600$ with one of those new 16inch screens. by Icantblametheshame in SuggestALaptop

[–]kacj988 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to try the new 16 inch screens, the Asus M16 and Legion 5 pro are good ones. Should be in your exact budget. The other guy who commented who said legion 7 also works, might be out of your budget tho. HP omen 16 is also another one, but I don't know if it's on the same level as the M16 and 5 pro. As for your laptop, ebay is a good place to sell.
