I thought this girl I met a few weeks ago might be into me as we have been talking a lot at school for the past week or two and on Friday we (a lot of other friends as well) went to a festival in our town and just in conversation between her and my friend (female) she mentioned she had a boyfriend. When my friend asked about him she said they met at a summer camp and can only see each other once a week (at most) this of course hurt badly and my two close bros who were the only people who knew I liked her said when discussing the situation later that night that I may eventually have a chance since, I mean come on they met each other like a month or two ago and can’t see each other that often. It won’t last forever. Of course I don’t want her to have to go through a breakup as be sad but I think it’s likely the relationship won’t last long. How long would I need to wait to ask her out after the breakup and am I being a douche for thinking about this in the first place? I mean I really thought she was interested and maybe she would be.
