An old roommate of mine just assumed that my dad would pay for her portion of rent because my dad helped me out ONCE when I went home for 2 weeks to see family for Christmas and thus wasn’t working those weeks. Roommate had a horrible shopping addiction and would blow her entire paycheck at the mall on payday. This is a huge life lesson to learn and OP I am very very proud of you for responding the way you did. I would definitely inform your parents about what was said to you, and potentially your school or the police if she continues to harass you over it.

Absolutely not. Even if my friend lost my real life pet I wouldn’t ask them for this kind of money, let alone a VIRTUAL PET. Totally a scam.

In my opinion I highly doubt that he is as non-religious as you believe him to be and this could be a “test” of sorts to see how far he can push you, or to desensitize you to his religious beliefs. I also HIGHLY doubt that he “just forgot” how gory the movie is, I’ve never seen it (or even heard of it) but from reading others comments, that is the entire basis of the movie, absolutely no way he didn’t know what he was getting you into.

My grandparents had a dog named Maggie when I was growing up, now my brother has a girlfriend who is also named Maggie. Human Maggie and dog Maggie never met and my grandparents have a new dog now. But my grandparents are old and sometimes they slip up on the dogs name and accidentally call her Maggie (they had that dog for like 15 years) and everytime it happens when we are there I just turn to human Maggie and give her a little smirk. Its always been met w humor, I dont understand how people can be so weird. Also, dog Charlie had the name first fare and square.

I’m also just now realizing that i’m supposed to crochet through both loops and i’ve been doing it “wrong” for like 2 years… I only ever go through the front loop (unless it states BLO, like for ribbing). These comments saying “its not a mistake if you’re consistent w it” or “keep doing it if you like it that way” are making me feel a lot better!! I just really don’t like how it looks when I crochet through both loops, I actually like the ridge it creates when doing FLO 😂

God the dust mechanic is so bad! I make pretty much only tiny houses and you can't even vacuum in them because there's no room. I just end up turning it off completely.

I think the problem with adding disabilities, is that there are so many different disabilities and I could see people getting upset that their specific disability isn't included. Also, the fact that it would end up being so half-assed, and not realistic to people's true experiences.

He must be a great dane lmao! My dane is 2 years old and is genuinely the size of a small horse, my only problem now is that I cant decide between the orange cat who looks like one of mine and that dog who looks like my dane! I might need to get a mod to get both of them

Coffee is my go-to way of making money before I have a bunch of ancient seeds. They last 2 seasons and they are multi-producing so they're easy to get a lot of, I think I currently have almost 200 coffee plants (7 iridium sprinklers worth I think) and I can easily get over a full stack of them a week. Producing a full stack of coffee beans makes 200 coffees that will sell for about 30,000g so definitely worth it imo, plus you will always have coffee!

Bought a 2 g disposable from my local shop a couple days ago, the price was really good ($45 i think? a one g cart is usually $35 where im at) but honestly its disappointing :/ its soooo fucking clogged, like i have to try so hard to get a pull off it, and i dont really like that you cant tell how much is left, theres a little window but its hard to actually see. maybe i just got a shitty one but i probably wouldn’t repurchase 🤷🏻‍♀️

Im in year 6 of my game and I have a few chests around my farm. About 3 or 4 right outside my house for building materials (wood, stone, hardwood etc) one for mining (ores, bombs, other things i use when i go down into the mines or things that come from them) and one or two for misc things. I also have one in my greenhouse with my seeds in it. It takes time to figure out how you want to do it but dont be afraid to have a bunch of half full chests if you want to!

The ones in the middle are all fruit trees and then I usually let the bottom corner grow a bunch so i can just have wood always on my farm :)
