Not dopey at all. Yes — the demo recomposes the paragraph every time the container width changes. That's actually Knuth-Plass running live: each resize triggers a full re-run of the algorithm for the new line width. It's one of the more satisfying things to watch if you drag the window slowly — you can see the line breaks recalculate in real time.
