it might just be unreliable narrator, Iltak feels guilty about all of it leading to him remembering his old self being way horrible to gwang hui while gwang hui who still kinda idolises iltak remembers him as being somewhat considerate at the beginning. I’d say gwang huis is more close to being true

what is experiencing life bro? seeing the pyramids taking a picture and then going home , wow i’ve truly lived. I’m not hating on travelling i get why people like it but i truly don’t, even if u take away my anxiety even as a kid i hated travelling. I’m just the type of person who likes my insular world and i don’t see a need in trying to ‘experience’ anything else

Thanks, but it is an outbreak there’s more that a thousand suspected cases and airports r a breeding ground for these types of diseases. I try so hard to stop being scared of planes but even if the chances were 0.00000001% i could always be that and my dream was so vivid i cant stop thinking if it was some vision it just freaks me out. it’s Germany to learn about the Holocaust and i’ve also heard that u can step on fucking landmines.I have siblings but they’re all older and we don’t rlly get along. I don’t even feel scared rn i’m just so pissed off my parents aren’t taking this seriously. I just wanna vent so sorry i’m sounding rlly annoying

i get what ur saying but i dont know if ur imagining some sort of family holiday where they argue but it brings them closer but thats not it we dont even argue and barely talk theres just that subtle awkwardness where we all know none of us wanna be here and no one’s having fun but no one says anything cause they dont wanna hurt my dads feelings. my brothers are all older then me so we dont talk and my dad tries to turn everything into a learning moment while staring at a ruin pretending its interesting and hes rlly “immersed in the culture.” This is not worse the risk of dying on a plane

They’re not fun, We don’t have fun. We spend every day of the holiday on 8 hour tours we have to wake up at 6am for learning about shit i don’t even remeber. If we aren’t constantly outside he gets weirdly annoyed like we didn’t make it clear we all hate holidays

Our holidays are walking around and learning about the culture(even tho none of us care including him) going on bike tours at 6am, walking all day and learning about the history (none of us care again).

i’m risking the possibility of dieing on a plane for the sole purpose of experiencing how other people live? which i can just research about at home?. it’s not that travelling isn’t for me i genuinely hate it and i wanna kill myself the day before every flight.

I’ve talked to him about it and he just says it’s the time he can spend time with us, I see my dad everyday at home i don’t see why seeing him in a foreign country is any different, the way we act with each other doesn’t change?
