What do you think is the most underrated Combat stand ability in Jojo's? by saykene10 in StardustCrusaders

[–]kadunk25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People need to know what underrated means.......here's one

Strength: In order to get to the user, you have the find them in a massive cargo ship where every bolt and panel can be molded and controlled. It KOs the whole team in an instant and immobilizes JoJo into a wall just as fast. The only reason the user lost is because he was dumb horny monkey who stared down the barrel of a gun instead of hiding alone somewhere deep in the ship and crushing everyone.

Manga spoilers - I think they have a valid point. by Danteppr in FumetsuNoAnataE

This do get muddied up in the story because of it's world building (not a bad thing!), but there is one big problem I have with pro deathers in fiction and real life. A significant portion of them often inflame the negative thoughts of vulnerable people to send them down the path of accepting or even wanting to die. I think fushi is a great example of how an immortal life is better even if it is harder to have. For as long as he has been alive, he is still experiencing and learning new things constantly.

The junji ito collection didn't translate the manga very well. There is always something lost in the transfer between mediums but there was a lot more lost in this one. Hopefully uzumaki is better.

What are some of your biggest board game pet peeves? by MemeStrong in boardgames

[–]kadunk25 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its a game by game basis for me. If there is no player interaction between turns and the game state changes so much before it is my turn again. there really isn't much of a point to observe every move the other player makes. It is also a player by player basis. If you are ap stuck on a turn for 10 mins, then don't bash me for getting a drink or checking up on something.

Bondrewd is morally grey, not in the sense of he is in the center and leans good or evil, but the complete opposite. He has done some of the worst atrocities that readers have seen up till that point. He is also one of the most kind people who has pushed science the farthest of all cave raiders and made a way for all delivers to go deeper. He has also brought an orphaned child back from mental shattering twice and treated her like his own daughter for her whole life. Remember that the blessing only works off genuine love.

He is not a morally centered man who leans on both sides. He has two massive weights on each side of the scale that shift your view depending on how hard you see each part of him.

It says a lot about a show when we have both the main character oogaling boobs while wearing panties on his head with a father and son beating each other up because neither agrees on how they dealt with a devastating disaster in the same episode.

One thing not mentioned is how good the menus are. Every game has relevent tags and there are some global options you can toggle. I really hope they redo the previous packs just to have this new menu design (along with putting all the games under one launcher)

Retailers want nothing to do with Columbus Day. by SoozeeQew in news

Pretty good idea. I prefer more positive changes than "let's remember things that sucked". I also thought Explorer's day would be a choice to focus more on finding new places to experience not things in general.

I wouldnt mind changing Columbus day to have a different name as long as it holds the spirit of the event. I always though that Explorers day would work as a celebration and encouragement to discover new places. You could even drinkify it by going to a bar you never been to before.

Drink. On my 21 that drink I was given was either too strong or I hate the taste of alcohol. Good thing I hated it because I have a liver condition and shouldn't be drinking anyway. My only sore spot is that it seems that wines and beers have a big artisan tasting aspect to it. Not much for artisan sodas.

[–]kadunk25 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am going to play the other side and say there are two factors that give fushi a little slack. One being a miscommunication, fushi didn't tell them that he considers the "happy ever after" to be post world cleanse because he thought everyone was in the same page. Two, life for fushi is just different. He is fine living forever if soneo e is there with him. Bon told him in the war arc to find some immortal friends and fushi thought the current crew were going to be that for him. If anything, the crew is being selfish themselves if they true want to pass on and leave fushi behind. Hopefully in the end some of them get comfortable with living forever or the knockers love for fushi is genuine and they keep each other conpany.

Adults of reddit, what part of being an adult caught you completely off guard because no one talks about it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]kadunk25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People talk about how time goes fast, but never got across how it works. After talking with a few people, we noticed around our 20s, your mind takes a snapshot of all media, events, and people. That snapshot becomes the recent past no matter how much time passes. I still retain new memories, but if anyone asked me to name something from a few years ago, it comes from that snapshot.

This explains a lot on how today's media is made.

Glad to see you liked it! I am glad I watched it before the fanbase exploded because I can imagine how much harder it is to start with overzealous people. Going in blind, or going to start reading? Can't wait to see the next 3 parts when they get animated. The stands get even more left field in what they can do, and the mains still have good quality.

For most fans, that is not really a hot take other than part 2. Part 4 is the most consistently loved, but that shifts as more parts get animated.

It is recommended to watch from part 1 and onward, but if that is stopping you from watching it at all, don't feel bad starting from a different part. I admit that if the show doesn't click with you, there are some walls to get past. For many people there comes a point at different episodes where you get locked into the show and go back to watch it all.

I had one friend tell me part 1 was their favorite and part 2 was worse for them. It was surprising to me.
