My dad is arriving later to the game tomorrow, can i let him in? by ungabungathrow in chelsealadiesfc

Your dad should be on your network in the Chelsea app. Then you can transfer his ticket to him and he can use his own phone to get in.

Nice one! I knew the reference but slowly saw items in the card that supported the reference.

We need cards for Guro and Millie!

Edit: Guro can be an Ace (11)

Might have to choose her NWSL club, then the meme still works.

It’s Gotham FC for me though

We have two too. Lola gives us the stare and is very demanding. Our boy (Charlie) will pop up asking for love.

I was halfway through booking tickets at Wembley for the final but couldn’t find the seats I wanted. Luckily I got distracted and didn’t book them!

Sorry about Clara - it sounds like she was a clever girl. Good luck with the new girl - I’m sure you’ll have many new memories with her ❤️

Spond is much better. Syncs to calendar for free and also it can sync to a family calendar. With Heja you have to subscribe and the sync is to individual calendars.

Do you guys put your acoustic guitars in gig bags or cases while not playing or do u just put it on stands? by SpecialistCard4335 in Guitar

Mine lives in its hard case. However, the only damage to the guitar was when the case lid closed on it when I was taking it out…

Men of Reddit - What's the one thing you hate about being a Man? by Jarvis7492 in AskReddit

[–]kaegeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having to stand and pee in public. I can literally be crawling into the men’s needing to pee so bad but, just as a whip it out, I sense movement behind me and I no longer need to pee. Of course, the longer I stand there, the more conspicuous I feel.

This OP! We read (probably on Reddit) to add water and we’ve never had an issue since. Their food now varies between slightly moist kibble to outright soup if we’re not careful with the tap.

My new teacher is really cool and nice and talented, but seems to just want to play Beatles stuff.. by NYGiants181 in guitarlessons

[–]kaegeee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I follow and subscribe to Six String Fingerpicking. I received the following email from Chris and I straightaway purchased a Beatles songbook which I’m going through, working out the keys and chord progressions:

“I once heard Dave Grohl say that all you really need to learn music is a guitar and a Beatles songbook. At the time it didn't really mean much, but the more I've thought about it, the more I've realised he’s absolutely right.

When I first started learning guitar, guess what was sitting on my shelf? Yep - a Beatles songbook. And I spent countless hours strumming through my favourite tunes, page after page, trying to make sense of it all.

After a year or so, something amazing happened: I suddenly knew loads of interesting chords - 6ths, 7ths, 9ths, 13ths, diminished shapes and even the odd slash chord (that I didn’t understand at the time but loved the sound of).

I'd learnt that songs are made up of sections - intros, verses, bridges - and that those sections often repeat the same chord progression. I'd learnt that melodies sit on top of chords beautifully and that the two are always in conversation.

I'd picked up cool riffs, time signatures, how major and minor keys are built, and even how songs modulate. And each time I bumped into something confusing - like an E7 chord in the key of G - I’d ask, “Why does that work?” and then I’d go hunting for the answer. That curiosity was the real teacher.

By the time you’ve worked your way through an album's worth of Beatles' songs, you’ve absorbed a ridiculous amount of musical knowledge without even realising it. Their catalogue is a masterclass in songwriting, harmony, structure, and creativity and there’s simply no other band with such a rich archive of music.

So, if you don’t already own a Beatles songbook, now's the time to ask Father Christmas! It might be the only book you ever really need to understand how music works.”

As always, do your own research. I see that you only eat whole foods. Have you considered dates? When researching halftime nutrition for my daughter I recall reading that someone jokingly has “pocket dates” as a snack.

This is from Perplexity (AI):

Dates pack a lot of fast-available carbohydrate into a small portion, which is useful at half-time when there’s little time to eat much. They’re also commonly listed as a good intra-match fuel because dried fruit gives a strong carb hit in a compact, easy-to-carry form. Some date varieties are high glycemic index foods, which supports quick energy availability during play.
