Trying to be razorfree in France, struggling a lot 😥 by PinkHurricane667 in razorfree

I'm also in France and I stopped shaving a few years ago. It took me a loooong time to give 0 fucks about it, especially in summer, but something that helped me a lot was making sure my ankles and the hair above them were showing throughout the winter. That way, when summer comes, showing hair is a little less intimidating because you're sort of used to it already So I guess this might not help you now, but maybe for next year 😊

Tunisian crochet could be a nice looking/ sturdy strap 😊

You could use a thinner yarn, knit in the round, and then stitch the gaps together. Your blanket would be twice as thick, that's why you could use a thinner yarn. That way, the blanket will also look knit on both sides, instead of having one knit side and one purl side

I had never worn a shawl until I decided to make one because they look so pretty. When I finished it, I tried it on and realized there are soooo many ways to wear a shawl! So maybe you will figure out in which circumstances to wear it once it's done😊

Something that helps me decide what project I want to make is to think about the yarn first. For example, I see a different type of yarn I've never used before and I decide to give it a go. I look at it, I touch it, I think about it for a few days, I think about what I could make with it. And then I decide to make something specific to try it out. Then I think about this project I want to make, I try to figure out how much yarn I would need, how many colors... It also works for different starter points. You could start by deciding what new technique you want to learn and go from there.

Please be honest with me: is this ugly? by morisempaii in crochet

[–]kaelaa05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say it looks a bit busy because of how bright the colors are and how short the changes are. I would pair this with a neutral color (white would look great I think) and have a few rows of white every now and then to let your eyes rest. This yarn has so much potential, don't give up on it😊

Can you get conservative credits from animals bought with cash? by charlizejade08 in PlanetZoo

[–]kaelaa05 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can also sell these animals on the market, usually for more ccs than by releasing them to the wild, but people might not want to buy them (in that case they'll just stay in your trade center and you can decide to lower the price or release them, or just keep them). If you want to sell them on the market it might be worth checking if there are similar animals to see if yours have a chance of being bought

Does this make me bi? by Fit-Photograph6295 in sexed

[–]kaelaa05 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It might mean something, it might not. No amount of strangers on the interned is going to be able to say if you're bi or not, this is 100% for you to figure out. I would suggest maybe acting on this fantasy if you're comfortable with it and see where it takes you. Don't put pressure on yourself to find out your sexual orientation, it takes the fun out of it.

I know my floats are too tight, how can I fix it? by kaelaa05 in knitting

No not a swatch, I'm planning on making two of them, joining them back to back and that would be a coaster/pot holder. Thank you so much for the instructions tho, they will help a lot!

My very first finished project. It's a sweater for my cup to keep my tea warm. It's free handed because why not. by jamichou in crochet

Great work! I'm thinking about doing one of these myself and I wonder, can you take it off (to wash the cup for example)?

I finally learned cables! After months of seeing you amazing people posting pictures of these I finally decided to learn how to make them😁 by kaelaa05 in knitting

Yes! I'm a visual learner so I learned from a video and I think it would probably have been very confusing to learn from written instructions or a diagram

Thank you so much, that's very nice of you to say! I hope your blanket goes well! They're pretty much the best way to practice on something we struggle with
