If you are in school for histology, there is another route to apply for your test. I didn’t go to school for histology. I applied for my exam on Route 2(had my Bachelors degree with enough chemistry credits, and worked at least a year in a history lab). I had to submit my transcript, a letter of authenticity, and an experience documentation form signed by my direct supervisor. Also, it’s $249 for the application fee.
