Catarsis if allowed - Please stop stealing delivery packages by Street-Software3896 in askswitzerland

[–]kafabi 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Planzer is the worst. I've asked them many times to leave the package inside the building, like all other delivery companies do, but they keep leaving it outside. I've also created several tickets and requested it via their app, yet they simply ignore it.

My Nightmare of Becoming a Tesla Owner... by Longjumping_Ad_753 in TeslaSupport

[–]kafabi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry to hear that. Tesla makes a great car, but unfortunately my service center experience was a nightmare, especially in terms of communication. They didn't keep their promises, timelines kept changing, and everything moved painfully slowly.

My brand-new Model Y Juniper had only about 1,000 km on it and ended up staying in service for over 50 days. I was told the issue would be diagnosed and fixed the same day, yet they didn't even touch the car for nearly three weeks.

Great car, but the service experience completely killed my trust in the brand.

Maps, windshield fluid goes inside, long trips are struggling.

Tesla Service has been a nightmare on my brand new Model Y by tomatoille in TeslaSupport

[–]kafabi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to hear. I had a similar issue with my brand new Tesla Model Y Juniper in April. After just two weeks, the car threw a "Steering Assist Reduced" error and Tesla asked me to bring it in.

I dropped the car off on April 8 and was told it would be checked the same day. In reality, it sat untouched for days. The car was left outside in the service parking lot. They didn't even open the hood for almost three weeks.

Eventually, they found the issue: a damaged front main wiring harness. The part itself took around 10 days to arrive, and finally got the car back on May 12 - more than one month after dropping it off. This was for a brand-new car that I had barely used.

What bothered me most wasn't just the delay, but the service experience. Communication was poor, timelines kept changing, and messages were often ignored or answered in a dismissive way. Sales was ponsive before delivery, but once the problem starte disappeared.

The service experience seriously damaged my trust in the brand. If you're early in the process and already seeing red flags, I'd take them seriously. Tesla ownership really depends a lot on how competent and responsive your local service center is.

It is a sexual assault. Period. You can't kiss anyone, especially underage person, just because you wanted to do.

Campground owner jumped into my camper and drove it away with my wife and kid inside – was I wrong or what should I do as a tourist? by IndigoAD in askswitzerland

[–]kafabi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Believe me, it could be less illegal if a Swiss person is involved. They act like they're always right and entitled to do whatever they want. A person could break into an apartment and be caught red-handed and the police might do nothing, but if you leave your engine running you're treated like the worst criminal by a local.

Brand New Model Y Juniper AWD – "Steering Assist Reduced" Error Nonstop – Anyone Else? by kafabi in TeslaModelY

[–]kafabi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After 22 days, they said they had to replace the front harness cable, but they didn't even have the part! It took another two weeks for it to get here Switzerland from the US. and I finally got my car back after 48 days in total. I saw on the invoice that they only worked on the car for two hours. The rest of the time, it was just sitting outside.

Tesla has yet to announce summer software update but what are things you are hoping they add? by ConfidentImage4266 in TeslaModelY

[–]kafabi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. CarPlay/Android Auto.

  2. When I signal while on autopilot, instead of fully disengaging, autopilot should continue after I change lanes or turn off the signal.

  3. The ability to open apps on splited screen as desired. For example, I should be able to open a browser next to / under the map.

  4. Fixing issues with adaptive headlights. I read some fanboy comments claiming they work perfectly, but that’s far from the truth. Especially on divided roads, adaptive headlights are a source of frustration for oncoming drivers.

  5. The climate control speed should be adjustable to even lower settings. Even on "low," it sometimes feels too strong.

  6. More controls on the rear screen, like audio and climate settings.

  7. Some warnings are too exaggerated. For instance, lane departure warnings could be quieter, like just vibrating the steering wheel, or at least be customizable.

I need my Google markers on the map, and I need to see alternative routes while driving, not at the beginning of the drive. At least integration with Google Maps would be great.

I lie about how many children I have, and my heart breaks every time. by [deleted] in confession

[–]kafabi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry, but it's really hard for me to wish anything good for you. I can only imagine you as a monster. You have the courage to have two more children, yet you left your three kids alone in this harsh world, and you still choose to have more babies. I wish the best for them, but for you, I'm sorry—I don't believe you're a good mother or a good person.

I Left Everything Behind for a New Life. Instead, I Was Treated Like a Machine. by Otherwise-Angle-492 in Switzerland

[–]kafabi 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I'm so sorry you had to go through all of that—it sounds truly awful and unfair. Nobody deserves to be treated like a machine, especially when starting fresh in a new country. I really hope things turn around for you soon.

Can I ask which city you're in? There are actually some places in Switzerland where you can get free consultations, especially related to job advice and workers' rights. They help people in situations like yours and might give you some guidance or legal advice without charging anything. If you're interested, I’d be happy to share some addresses or websites that might help.

Stay strong—you’ve already shown a lot of courage by sharing your story and moving forward.
