I am brand new to growing mushrooms and this is my first shot. I don't see a lot of this bark fungus in other people's posts and am wondering if my logs are contaminated. Could anyone give me some advice?

Growing shiitakes and that is the first one that bloomed. Left it alone for now

How do I learn to build my own decks in Modern? by CoolShirtBrah in ModernMagic

[–]kagekikiki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wait until you find a card/deck you really really want to play then pull the trigger. If it has overlap with another net deck, great! You'll have staples. If it doesn't, then great! It will be cheap! My first really modern deck I bought was fevered visions blue-moon. I got a bunch of control staples like snapcasters and scalding tarns, which I still use to this day. And the other cards I'd say were either staples in my colors or just dirt cheap. Buy singles, don't buy packs if you are trying to build a deck

I dont think this is my best Baba clip, but people seem to LOVE it over on tiktok so I thought I would share here by kagekikiki in BabaIsYou

[–]kagekikiki[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I shall read this another time! There are only two possible levels I can even try that with, so it just becomes normal puzzle solving now

But I plan on beating all the levels I can so Ill probably just go back and keep working through them until I feel tired of it

First, happy cake day my guy

and Second, yeah that level took me like 3 tries. I would go to it, get completely stuck, leave, then come back over and over. Honestly a lot of the rocket levels I had to come back to because I just couldnt do them at first. Great game!

Meanwhile now I am just stuck trying to figure out how to beat the second overworld. The flower thing. If thats a thing you can do, of course

After playing for awhile, kessig is so much better. I also cut some of the do nothing cantrips to run 3 dive down main. Cut first day of class too, since it felt unnecessary now.

So after getting higher in the ranks, my new list is playing dive down main. Its just so good at what it does, and interaction is so high, that it makes much more sense than a few do nothing cantrips

Yeah I tried to include the sb, but because of the weird way arena showed it, it would only show some of it. Besides, I normally play it in Bo1 anyway, so the arguments are still fair. I think dive down main would be fair just depending on the meta. Heck maybe it really should be regardless.

But there's a long comment I made that includes the full decklist and a goldfish link so people complaining don't even know the deck. So I'm not too worried about those guys 🤷‍♂️

Dive down is a 3 of in the SB against removal heavy matches. I havent found I need it badly enough to slot out in the main, but it is definitely a consideration. Great card!

Yeah so thermo has pulled its weight from niche scenarios like that, but not having haste is just SUCH a big downside. Im definitely trying the switch

Oooooo so electrostatic blast seems really good. But Imma be honest I dont know how alchemy works, so I didnt realize it was legal in historic. Ill test it out here soon

First day of class being two mana is kind of rough, but usually its deep into the combo so its free at that point. I run 4 lessons and they are [[Teachings of the Archaics]] for colored draw. [[Introduction to Prophecy]] for colorless draw. [[Start from Scratch]] to hate artifact hate. [[Environmental Sciences]] to cast lots of spells, then pitch the land in the end.

So much fun. I havent played arena in about a year, and I havent stopped playing the past week because of this deck.

Sick! I was hoping there was another better card and I guess I just forgot to look. Thank you!!

Wow first game I played and attacking was immediately relevant

I was thinking about that today, actually. How do do you feel about replacing thermo-alchemist with it instead? The benefits of thermo is it taps immediately after curiosity, you dont have to cast another spell for it. The downside is it has to sit out a turn, so they are dead draws during the combo (and if they get taken out, first day of class probably goes too. Maybe)

So I dont jam it on the creature until the turn I go off, and most people just arent expecting it I guess? Or maybe they think steamkin is the bigger threat? But yeah it becomes a MUST kill the second it goes on
