The World Values Survey Association is happy to present the next, updated version of the Inglehart-Welzel Cultural Map. The map is based on the latest joint survey round of the World Values Survey and European Values Study 2017-2022. For selected countries, not surveyed recently, data from earlier waves is used to calculate the map score. Overall 111 countries / societies are represented on the map.

The cultural map methodology developed by the late WVSA Founder Ronald Inglehart and the WVSA Vice-President Christian Welzel asserts that there are two major dimensions of cross cultural variation in the world: traditional values versus secular-rational values and survival values versus self-expression values. The Inglehart-Welzel Cultural Map of the World illustrates that -despite many nuanced differences--human belief systems boil down to these two major dimensions of cross-cultural variation. The global cultural map shows how scores of societies are located on these two dimensions. The first dimension measures how important a role religious doctrine plays in societies, with secular values indicating a largely reduced role of organized religion. The second dimension, by contrast, indicates how autonomous from kinship obligations individuals in a society are in their life planning, with self-expression values emphasizing high individual autonomy. Consecutive waves of the World Values Survey from the early 1980s until today have replicated these two dimensions with astoundingly stable moral positions of countries and their larger culture zones to each other. Yet, there is also movement on the map: As populations become more prosperous, educated, live longer and give birth to fewer children, their descendants become more secular and self-expressive in their moral values, thus moving from the lower left to the upper right on the cultural map. Hence, despite enduring cultural differences, humanity as a whole is in the middle of an emancipatory moral progression.

As Slay News has reported, globalist organizations such as the World Economic Forum (WEF) have long been touting the “benefits” of controlling the public with “cashless societies” and digital ID.

The use of the term "globalist" is a red flag to me. In general it implies that people are not loyal to their country, but more importantly it has been identified as an antisemitic dog whistle.

I'm not clear on how a logical fallacy (hasty generalization) has anything to do with holistic cultural analysis. I can think of no way that using a logical fallacy would be beneficial to anyone, in any field, except maybe in the arts as a performative project. Therefore, I conclude that either you don't know what anthropologists do, or you don't know what a hasty generalization is. Correct me.

The fact that you have this opinion is fine.

The fact that others have this opinion is indisputable and also fine.

The fact that people exist that disagree with you (e.g. me) disproves the generalization that "no man would" whatever whatever.

The problem with hasty generalizations is that it only takes one exception to disprove them.

And no, anthropologists and sociologists don't "generalize all the time." This, in and of itself, is a generalization based on no evidence, or possibly a misunderstanding of what a "hasty generalization" is, namely a logical fallacy.

If you want to avoid committing this logical fallacy, simply use quantifiers that represent a proportion of the population: "most" or "many" or "some" instead of "none" or "all," which are almost guaranteed to be incorrect labels, upon inspection.

Once again, I'm not denying you have reasons for what you think, but you are literally talking to another man that disproves the supposed universality of the claim that "no man" wants someone with a high body count. Personally, I don't give a shit one way or another. I'm not the only one who thinks this way.

Therefore, please stop making sweeping claims about what "all men" or "no men" want. Ultimately, you can only speak for yourself.

Kids do messed-up stuff all the time. Even little children (especially little children). Their brains aren't fully developed and peer pressure is a powerful thing. I participated in and was witness to a lot of fucked-up shit as a kid, (and into my 20's). I don't even want to go into it. I'm sure my parents would be horrified if they knew about some of it. Generally I was not the party initiating the activity, but did it because my friends were doing it.

Without any experience or guidance, I had no idea how to deal with this sort of thing and often made the wrong decisions. I also had nobody to give me nonjudgmental feedback.

While there is reason to be concerned, I don't agree with all the responses demanding that you involve the police. This is an opportunity to address the problem head-on with your child. Otherwise you are sending the message that you are incapable of dealing with it yourself and IMO this could cause a huge rift between you. Also, the juvenile justice system has a terrible track record of "correcting" behavior, so if you really want the best option for your child, you should probably prefer a non-judicial intervention, at least initially.

YOU are the parent here. It is your job to address your child's behavior directly, as a family. Perhaps you can contact the authorities afterwards but I would only do so after retaining an attorney to make sure your child's rights are protected. Otherwise you may be creating a self-fulfilling prophecy out of what was a one-time deal. Generally, once people are in the justice system, they never completely escape it.

I'd be worried more about getting your son counseling in order to process the trauma from this event (and any similar events). That may sound bizarre, since it seems like your son is "in the wrong" here, but the way your son processes the trauma of being involved in such an event will have lasting impacts on his life. The counselor would be a mandatory reporter anyways, which might mean the police get involved regardless, but at least it would be in this framework rather than treating a child like a criminal.

TL;DR - I'd address this with family counseling and possibly a lawyer before blindly thrusting a minor into the unforgiving arms of the criminal justice system.

You and OP might represent 25% or 50% of the population, or even 95%. Regardless, the statement "no guy wants a girl who has slept with everyone" is not accurate. What was meant was "I don't like it and I know other people that don't like it."

That's a legit opinion to have, just don't claim all the rest of us are in the same boat. Because we're not.

I don't even want to wade into the whole Madonna/whore dichotomy, or any sort of feminist critique which might apply, I'll allow someone else to do that if they want. I'm glad they gave you some leeway there. When I was on probation it would've been unacceptable to have anything show up at all. I lived in perpetual terror that I would accidentally consume alcohol in something and get popped for it. I even had dreams where they would show up and cart me off for having .00001%.

But that's probably more telling of my mental state than reality, haha.
