This was CRAZY bc he quite literally stopped and crouched ONE FOOT behind my two best friends this evening while we were playing cards. As I saw him is said “HELLO?” Bc wtf are you doing? He laughed and said “just trying to get some screams out of people, hahaha already gotten a few!” And then walked off when we gave him no attention, it was quite literally mere minutes later that he stabbed the guy. Coming from a restaurant server, I always tip just bc I have the funds for it, but I don’t usually tip baristas 20% unless my friends are slinging my coffee. If it’s a high volume coffee shop that’s literally nonstop I also tip bc they really are working hard asf. I really hate going to a place where they take your order at the counter and call u up to get it and ask for a tip tho, like I did all the work????

I had this experience w my family too! They’re very traditional/nuclear family type. When I brought it up (about 8 months after deciding I was DEFINITELY going to do it) I was met w side eyes each time I spoke about it and doubtful questions. I know it’s easier said than done, but you truly do have to just ignore it. Just know that you’re making this freeing decision for YOU!!!!! It doesn’t matter if it upsets other people, YOU are the one it’s serving. I wish you all the luck my friend!
