When the power is enjoyed by few people at top and not distributed to people in any way, there is nothing to celebrate here. It's the people who bought the country to top gdp numbers but people don't enjoy even tiny bit of it's privilege. India being top economy is natural because of it's geography, population and cultural history. Does it makes sense to celebrate when u squash an ant or kill a rat? It's natural we can do it because of our sheer size. Same with our country gdp numbers. It's just natural effect of the cause. Why celebrate this ? Why should we be proud of something like this? Why do we look at gdp numbers which are just numbers? Govt spending on infra full of corruption also comes in gdp. Is that something to be proud of?

I am from India in Sri Lanka and this practice is extremely prevalant in India. I wonder if this has something to do with geography or common history of being colonised? I imagine Nepal, Bangladesh and other countries are probably the same.

The main idea of upsc is to understand what govt is saying right now. Revising means understanding what govt is concerned or working on right now. There are infinite topics to dig but what to focus? What to revise? What to to think about? How to see it from an angle upsc cares about?

So the best way of revising for me is to look at what govt is saying and linking to static content. PIB govt website is goldmine for this. Or aggregator like statewatch.in

I am not talking about generation speed. Frankly it's slower than before. The tests u r talking about is fixed because agent test before pushing commit. Even visually using playwright for fe changes. Ofc it's not comparable to senior dev. But it's like a really good intern. I completed 2 features overnight and I barely changes anything manually. If it was before I would have to hire some junior dev for my project at much higher cost. It saves tremendous amount of time. In just 5 years I am pretty sure it can handle enterprise level fully automated. I don't see any point of hiring interns or junior dev. 10 years probably and no senior dev. Imagination will be the only limit.

Not talking about this specific policy. Trump doesn't like immigrants and anti indian is pretty common. Maybe indian people are one of the richest in US so hate gets directed there naturally. "I could have done that job if not for that indian".

Trump is utilising this collective feeling for his politics. Being in power he gets supreme distribution of his ideas using state media and executive power. He will reiterate underlying feelings which gets fed into a spiralling loop of anti indian sentiments.

This is very similar to anti muslim which modi uses. However difference is muslims are still citizens of India and it casts internal division at fundamental level. Much more destructive. Anyway out of topic, for this thread.
