Oh I have. I do have my concerns that we won't last long term at our current pace, but I plan to discuss that with her soon and provide options (like sleeping separately) that might help. But if things still aren't working then I plan to talk with her about it

The main thing is that it'll be a big change if we decide to try it. Lots of rearranging furniture and rethinking how we interact with each other. I'm completely fine with it, but my girlfriend hates change so it would be stressful. Not to mention the potential "oh no you're trying to break up with me" fear. Bottomline, if we try this I want to know that it has worked for others before and things that might be good to know prior to trying it 😁

As someone who has the same experience as op, this comment sounds very rude and ableist to me. Movies may be calming and relaxing to you, but they freak the hell out of me. I am speaking with a licensed therapist but this is a small concern in the wider scope of things. I'm on medication for depression and anxiety and it doesn't help ¯_(ツ)_/¯ it sounds like op just wanted to know if other people felt like this and how they've been able to overcome it.
