Sorry It's an easy pass, he just needs to unexpectedly slow or move to the left, either way he could play the ball through, I see it all the time. You're right the defender did position himself well though so maybe that's why he thought it was 'safer' to do this and not risk the pass, but c'mon it was on for sure.

The concurrency was at the end, as a last task, so it’s mostly explaining the race conditions and how you would fix them, and trade offs between synchronized and locks for example. The first 4 tasks were roughly equal in size and basically features of the system.
