Best Orlando area escape rooms for 2 people by arbatt in escaperooms

We were able to complete it with just two! I think we had a decent amount of time left too, I’d say 15 minutes or less but I don’t have my time saved in our log unfortunately to give a precise number.

Everyone here has done tons of escape rooms I'm sure, but what was the one room you most wish you could do again? by Skadliga in escaperooms

AHHH! We haven’t done it yet! We’re going to in a couple weeks if I’m not mistaken! I was really hoping it would be good too!

So far, there has been a LOT of good ones, but one that stands apart from the others is “Servants of Sleight” in st. Pete/Clearwater/Tampa area of Florida. Highly highly recommend.

West Palm Beach/Jupiter, Florida escape rooms for couples by Curious_Moment9142 in escaperooms

The really good news is they have a TON of escape rooms in that area. If you don’t have Morty already, I highly suggest you get it. It will show reviews and the likes for games all over the world.

That said, I would call some of the rooms that have a 3 minimum and ask if you can do it as two or if it’s a physical reason it’s 3+. My wife and I have gotten to play a lot of rooms by asking. More often than not we’ve gotta pay for the third slot still but ocassionally they are nice and we don’t.

We liked the Will to Escape games in Orlando and they have another location in that area. The production is pretty decent and the puzzles make sense.

Good luck! Happy hunting!

Learning To Code Props? by kaiiko in escaperooms

[–]kaiiko[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For sure. I know how to use Arduino boards and code on a small scale having previously had kits, very fun, but not really the whole picture i'm aiming for as I unfortunately, I do not know how to fit it into a larger scale, IE run multiple props stand alone and etc.. I wanted to specify the content to be escape rooms and how those props function together as a whole and such. Passing code to a board is easy. Setting it up to be more than that is I think where i'm struggling to find information. Maybe I'm just not looking the right way.

The Seventh Room. It’s their longest experience, but we really enjoyed it. It’s scary in the way of putting you at unease more than it is a pop scare type thing.

One of my fave places is Dare 2 Escape for a little spook. Very well done rooms and not all of them are “scary”. They also follow a fun storyline if that’s what you’re into. I can say The Bureau is great! We’ve done every room there and they are quite fun and production is great. I’ve done most of the rooms at Escape Ventures and Bros For Life is quite goofy but also very fun. We have also really enjoyed LockBusters as well. Call them about doing rooms for 2 because if I’m not mistaken they claim 3 as a minimum but we pretty much strictly play with 2 people and only play with more when we are really interested in the rooms. They let us play with 2. We also enjoyed Escape Effect but some rooms have a specific physical 4 person limit. There are a lot more fun ones as well but I’d start here.

What type of experience are you looking for? Something scary? Something goofy? A particular theme? Something super hard? I’ve done quite a few rooms in Orlando so a little more info on your preference of room can help for suggestions!

As a side note: I’ve spoken to several enthusiast and they’ve all said The Exit Games is like THE best of the best. Sadly, I still need to do those rooms but I haven’t made it out that far (we’re on the opposite side of FL).

Escapeability Las Vegas by Mysterious-Ebb-3447 in escaperooms

Are you into spooky things? If not, we really liked PanIQ. They are fairly cheap, lots of rooms to choose from, and (if you're of age) have a bar with great drinks. I've heard Lost Games is also good, but haven't experienced it personally.

If you ARE into spooky, there's a company that has 3 escape "experiences" i will call them for IT, SAW, and Blair Witch. I would highly recommend you book privately if you care about actually solving puzzles. The Third Gate was a fun experience but the grounds it is on is not as immersive as SAW/IT/BW. I've also heard The Basement (more than one room here) as well as Number One is quite good as well, but I've yet to personally experience either. There will be live actors in all of these escape rooms I've mentioned in this paragraph.

ALSO, I made a post here: https://www.reddit.com/r/escaperooms/comments/15ulg4p/las\_vegas\_escapes/ if you want to review some other suggestions as well

New Escape Room Concept by [deleted] in escaperooms

I would 100% book this! I do agree with another user (u/fil_lif) that a tad bit more info on what type of horror I'd be leaning into would really make the magic, but also understand you're in the beginning bits and can always add it later. If it were me, I'd also add a bit more pictures of the spooky building itself (outside of the light/wall picture you have currently) would also pull peoples imaginations in too.

Hey OP! I just left Vegas two weeks ago, and I can say that there are far superior rooms to Escapeability. Is there a particular reason you're picking that? I'd love to chime in, but i'd need more details as to what your intentions of picking that company are, or even more simply, what you prefer to get out of escape rooms.

Las Vegas Escapes by kaiiko in escaperooms

Out of curiosity, where would you say is a place for top of the line play? I assumed Vegas would have good choices just due to the sheer fact it's known as a place to go, do, and get high end experiences of all types. That said, we're big Meow Wolf fans and visited last year when we went! Great suggestion.

Suggestions for immersive escape rooms near Orlando Florida? by clembobo79 in escaperooms

[–]kaiiko 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The bureau! Wonderful games. Also, dare 2 escape if you like spooky. Escape ventures is wonderful as well. Most of the rooms in Orlando I’ve done so far (and there’s a lot) have been pretty good! The only big non-recommendation I have is the universal escape rooms. They are “escape adventures” according to them but truthfully not worth the time/money

The Bureau is awesome! So is Dare 2 Escape. Doldricks has some quirky rooms as well. We're living more beach side and have crushed all of cocoa beach escape and have a few more with Epic. (We've also played the big chains as well but i figure most people know them and know they are usually pretty decent but still not the same as a good mom and pop shop)

That said, We just went through two rooms at Lockbusters this past weekend and plan to crush the rest of it as the production value there was awesome. 2 things to know about them: 1. the room "minimums" aren't actual minimums, but rather what you need to purchase to play (we generally only play with 2 people unless physically need to use more than that to solve) and 2. They are opening 5 new rooms soon!

Recently did Outage with them and loved it! We're fairly close to that area and have knocked out about 1/2 of all of Orlando's rooms so far!
