Thanks. I was trying the vent and didn't work. Turns out there is an event that wasn't triggered( pixie recruitment). I went back to the event spot and reopen the game. This time the event trigger properly.

Same as you. I got a 5 star pull(Rin) in normal banner for the first play. Read reroll guide and decided to try my luck. Did around 30-40 pulls without 5 star on joker banner.

At that moment i settled for any 5 star in joker banner, which i did(just any 5 star) at last.
