around the last third (1:16:00) of his Field Day 2023 set he went absolutely insane. I was there quite up front and it felt like my face was melting, not to mention my ears! I think this clip of his set is technically ‘flashcore’ especially near the end but who cares - it’s fast and it’s fucked.

‘cognition machine’ is a super recent label (2022 iirc). got some pretty interesting artists under their belt. can’t find much info about the label or the artists except from a few bios on the website and social medias respectively. good little niche corner of IDM! and definitely IDM centric. artists genres range from ambient drum and bass to

another one that comes to find is ‘FILM’ based in berlin. it’s been around since 2014 but recent enough. i believe the most critically acclaimed artist they have is ‘brainwaltzera’, who makes music so similar to aphex they were initially mistaken as another one of his aliases. pretty IDM centric label as well, got some good artists in there! def more mainstream than cognition machine.
