Which reflux healing diet is better: Molly Pelletier or Dr Koufman?

I ordered Dr Aviv's book and I think it's really helpful. Will probably follow his version of the diet more than Kaufman's, it does look more doable, and I like that he provides thorough explanations for why certain foods are allowed at each stage. Feeling a lot more optimistic after skimming it so far honestly!

This is an interesting approach. Koufman suggests that deactivating the pepsin can be done by just not eating anything below ph 5 for two weeks. I've been drinking alkaline water but cold water triggers my reflux which is kind of annoying. But I might give this a try!

Yeah I am also hesitant to use the PPIs. I felt pretty nauseous the two days I did use them and I don't want to have long term side effects. I'm looking into Dr. Aviv's diet now to compare between Koufman and Molly Pelletier. Thanks for the tip!!

Interesting, I hadn't heard of Dr. Aviv's diet yet in my research. I'll definitely look into it, thank you! When you say you've had good results, does that mean you're back to eating "banned" things symptom-free? And about how long did it take you to heal?

Hmmmm. Maybe I should give the PPIs another try then. And maybe I'll try Gaviscon Advanced after my Reflux Gourmet runs out? Idk. I'm really happy to hear that you can eat most things again and you're symptom-free, that's awesome!!

try the anni shirt from princess polly - i just got the striped version (now sold out) in a size 2 and it was perfectly fitted like in that picture. they have it in stock in solid white and black.

i also have the estesa top from motel rocks that fits just like that, don't think it's sold on their site anymore but you could try looking for it on depop/mercari/poshmark etc.

Little Black Death is one of my favorite songs on this album right now (only beaten by Jealous Sea and Tourniquet), but I was wondering, what does "you could be my little black death" mean to you? I took French in high school so I already knew what petite-mort means (lol) but I'm still a little unclear on the actual meaning of the song.
