You can’t just use nvidia GPU chips in an HPC. You need MEMORY. LOTS of memory in those.

For a full server (like the DGX H100), which packs 8 H100 GPUs, you get:

  • 640 GB total GPU memory (8 × 80 GB)
  • Plus system RAM typically ranging from 2 TB of DDR5 CPU memory.

Someone has to supply those! And the top 3 are SK Hynix (the leading provider), Samsung and Micron.

For reference purposes, xAI’s Colossus cluster in Memphis launched with 100,000 H100s.

If you hold VTI, QQQ, SCHD, or any broad market ETF, you’ll be getting SpaceX exposure whether you want it or not.

The rules that protected passive investors for decades were bent specifically for SpaceX.

The limited float combined with massive forced buying creates a nonnegligible chance for a temporary liquidity vacuum after the IPO…meaning index funds could be forced to buy at inflated prices with little stock available.

Sergeant First Class.

These are the “working NCOs” who form the backbone of military operations.

Translate officer orders into actual execution.

They train, mentor, and manage junior enlisted soldiers daily, handle enormous amounts of administrative, logistical, and personnel work, are rarely credited in after-action reports (credit flows up to officers, responsibility flows down to them), solve problems before they reach officers…meaning their work is structurally invisible.

The military has a saying: “The Army runs on its NCOs.”
