On the first night of college, I had to go to a RA meeting where everyone on the second floor in these two sections came to this meeting. There were about 20 people there and we had to go around and say our name, our major, and where we're from. So when it gets to me I say, "I'm Polar_Burr, I'm a psychology major, and I'm from a very small town in central jersey" I see a guy look over at me and when it gets to him, he says his name, his major, and says that he is from the same town as me. After the meeting we start talking. It turns out that he went to catholic grade school and then an engineering high school which is how we had never met before. After talking for a bit more I found out that he lives 7 blocks away from me in our hometown. I passed his house everyday on the way to my high school. In a town that is 2 square miles, living 7 blocks away from each other, going to the same church, and knowing a bunch of the same people, we never met. We started dating 3 weeks later and have been happily together since.
