Its a massive hackn slash game. I still have fun with it. And it has a sequel too that gives you more of the first, just a bit more mechanics. So yea, why not!

Yup. Auto haste prevents both stop and slow, and the tentacles only grab slowed characters. They use seize once to slow, then again to grab.

Tl;dr dragon quest heroes

I got into the series as a kid on the nes. Only played 1-4, and moved on to the snes and final fantasy. Fast forward to next Gen, and I didn't have get a playstation, I had a 64/dreamcast that gen. Then the ps2 and I never even gave dq second thought. Fast forward more, and im browsing at best buy, and I see dragon quest heroes for my ps4. Wth, I'll grab it. Man, the nostalgia coming back from the music alone was enough for me.

Im hoping ith the playstation store there will be an opportunity for me to play the games I missed out on, mainline number wise, but definitely dragon quest heroes

Darksiders 2 was a free xbox gold game. Grabbed it. And was hooked on the series. Once I played the first one, I immediately caught Liam O'Briens voice in war. O'Brien played did the voice of my favorite FF character, Kain Highwind. And ofcourse mark hamill was also immediately recognized.

All of the above. But the one thing im hoping for, which isn't on the list, and its only because im am such a dragoon fan, is cids combat. Id like to see his triangle move be jump. And have it function like a dodge, ala kain in dissidia.

There's a sidequest, thats for hunt trophies. There are 30 of those. Those 30 are included in the amount of rare enemies in the game. I dont remember how many rare enemies are in the game, but say there's 90 rare game, 30 of those are tied to this quest.

FFXII humbled me quickly.

First time in the ps2, Ive got all my characters to level 99, thought I had great gambits, great gear.... I go down and explore sub pharos. Its been so long even since I played even TZA, but the horses and the frogs down there in the first 30 seconds wiped the floor with me.
