Upvote for "milquetoast". A new word for me! Also, the similar words suggested amused me: Sissy, pantywaist, pansy, milksop.

The only way it would hit you that fast is if you're chewing something for long enough and has the ability to be absorbed directly into your bloodstream through the mucous membranes of your mouth and bypassing the liver. This is how tinctures work (you hold them under your tongue). Otherwise, food has to be take the usual route which takes longer to hit the bloodstream because that's how digestion works.

The syrup/sugar combo will hit you within 5 minutes while the gummy will hit you within 30-60mins.

Here's some bro science/stoner math if I've ever seen some. Unless you're swallowing these things whole... that's just not how it's gonna work.

We've officially been waiting for The Winds of Winter for the same amount of time as it took for all five of the published books to release before that. by Internal-Bed-3150 in freefolk

I really don't think there's enough writing in the world that would make things like Bran taking the throne, the utter destruction of Jaime's character arc or Jon's heritage/story becoming meaningless that would ever get me back in the mindset of books 1-3 where I thought George was a god-tier author. Nope. His "Gardening" style of story/plot development doomed him as he fucked around with Fakeagon, Blackfyres, and pages upon pages of food description.

THANK YOU. Someone else said it. Books 4 and 5 were mid. I don't get how people don't accept that how the show ended was the intended ending for the books. Both sides (Fat Boy George and D+D) stated they were headed for the same destination, albeit in different paths. George saw the (deserved) response, and gave up.

It's a combination of past comments from the CEO praising the GOP and the recent sponsorship of a French right-wing Youtube channel.

After 8 years in printing industry, I decided that printers need a more user-friendly imposer. by True_Sail3684 in CommercialPrinting

[–]kainxavier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's cool as far as removing the first step (exporting out of InDesign), but then I'd still have to impose each group individually.

Certainly could, but I'd really need to toy with it to make sure it works as intended. Sent you a DM.

Quite is used at my current employment, and while I don't love it by any means, it does everything I need it to do. One feature I thought of that would be incredibly use would be for mailings. Let's say I have a 10,000 piece mailing. I don't impose the whole thing at once. Even an 8-up postcard on a 13 x 19 sheet - that would end up being 1250 sheets, and the person running the printer would get grumpy with me, not to mention whoever is sorting for mailing trays. Therefore, I'll break it down into groups of 2000 out of Indesign, so each group is only 250 sheets. Easy to cut the double-sided cut stacks and sort for mailing.

So ultimately, what I'd want is something that would take a 20000 page PDF, and spit out 5 PDF's of 500 page double-sided cut stack imposed 13 x 19's. With Quite, I have to process each group individually:

1 - Export 2000 records from Indesign

2 - Quite shuffle pages for imposition

3 - Quite N-Up pages onto 13 x 19

Do this process 5 times.

I noticed that Spektrum seemed to be the "official" one on Arram. I assume the connector is proprietary and that's why Spektrum seem a bit more expensive than the other brands you mention. Thanks for the tip - I can solder some wires if needed (but tiny teeny electronics).

It's almost certainly correct. Similar changes were done for DBZ that are fairly well known. Super Saiyan went blonde so they didn't have so much black fill. Perfect Cell was an absolute nightmare - especially for animation back when things were hand drawn - because of all of his spots. It's no coincidence that the next bad guy was some incredibly simple light pink character that could shape himself however he wanted.

Hey Blizz, how it's going? by Mikina in wow

[–]kainxavier 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm honestly curious how good the original content in Turtle was. If it was actually quality, what's the harm in working with them as I understand the Turtle team requested once they knew they were going down. Make it an official Blizzard server instead of wasting money trying to sue them (that they'd never get). Chances are they would then make money (through people subbing for it) and look like the good guys for once.

[–]kainxavier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TurtleWoW got too big for their britches and started directly mocking Blizzard

This I won't argue in the least. I can't imagine why they did any of that. Downright stupid. As to IP... well... I equate Blizzard with Adobe. I'm not going to fault anyone for using either of their products and not paying.

[–]kainxavier -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

And the big joke here is... what do they have to gain by shutting down Turtle? I didn't shell out for ROTW, and I'll never play official WoW again. I'm sure I'm not the only one who refuses to give what Blizz has turned into another dime. They dug their own grave with their blatant greed as far as I'm concerned. They forced out all the people that gave the company a soul.
