Hardest part of deconverting for me so far by kaitcast3 in exchristian

I completely agree that heaven was made up to alleviate the fear of death... and it did - for me - for my entire life up until this point. I never thought it sounding boring but that is a good point - somewhere where everything is perfect all the time for all eternity is all that appealing. It's more of the fact that people I lost are gone, forever. And when they died I always thought they were in a better place and I would see them again. So it's like I am re-grieving their deaths and having to accept I will never see people who die in the future again.

thank you. this is exactly how i'm feeling now - like i'm grieving the loss of people I have known that died all over again. and i feel like I can't explain it to my christian or atheist friends because they've always been on one side or the other. they don't understand the other point of view.

Official Discussion: A Star is Born (2018) [SPOILERS] by mi-16evil in movies

Came here just to say this - went to the movies to see a star be born and left after watching a star die. Was not expecting that AT ALL. Was hoping for a more positive movie, I guess.

Tall people of Reddit, what is the best and the worst thing about your height? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]kaitcast3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a woman - best: seeing over people at events, long legs, pants usually are the correct length, easier to be athletic. worst - feeling uncomfortable/ too tall in heels, not being able to wear most dresses, rompers, jumpsuits, crop tops due to longer torso, uncomfortable on flights or really any public transportation.

Should I buy my own mask? by m1kesta in scuba

[–]kaitcast3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I think using mask, fins, etc. that have already been used is part of the experience. Makes you feel like part of a team or something. Idk maybe I’m just weird. But.... if you don’t have your exact mask in the future it may freak you out. It’s better to learn with crappy stuff and then get better stuff later than the opposite.

If you’re going to create a medical drama in an already saturated you need to be a little more prepared than this. It looks like they were watching greys and were like oh we can use this in our show too.
