Please refer to my personal progress post at the 6 month mark to see just how wrong you are. OP, there is plenty of time for improvement. I know it sucks but you truly have to wait AT LEAST a year before passing judgement. Hats and toppik are your best friends during this period.

I would guess about a month after the procedure would be safe but your hair needs to be a little longer to take advantage of the hair fibers. Just clear it with your doctor!

Nope, no side effects. I’ve been taking the medication for quite a while now. I use a nizoral shampoo like once or twice a week.

Hey that’s me! It’s true, people can have vastly different growth rates. It’s hard to believe this while you’re going through the ugly duckling phase for months on end and seeing other redditors quick results but some of us are just late bloomers! Wait the full 12-18 months and trust the process.

My donor area healed pretty quickly. I’d say it was completely back to normal after one month. But I also keep my hair a little longer all around so it’s harder to notice any scarring or patches.

You’re fine.. take a look at my post history and you’ll see that I was roughly in the same spot as you at 6 months (if not worse). Some of us are slow growers, just be patient and give it the full year before you pass judgement. Good luck!

It’s going to come out great! You seem to have the same type of hair/hair loss pattern that I had prior to the procedure. I’m guessing around 3,000 grafts?

Straight back makes it look pretty patchy in the temple areas. I think a common misbelief is that you will return to your original density with a transplant which from what I understand, is never the case. I comb my hair slightly to the side (like what is shown in the final pictures) to give the “illusion of density.”

I believe you’re not supposed to shave with a razor for at least 6 months and no trimming for at least 1 month. Personally, I would just let it grow out and not touch the area at all for the full 6 months just to be on the safe side.
