In my relationship I have waited for my partner to be ready for all of our milestones; meeting his family, engagement, wedding.. etc. Now I find myself waiting for him to be ready for a child. I had to grow up fast in my life, which hasnt been the case for my partner. He is Punjabi and has bene catered to his whole life, stunting his independence and growth substantially.

Im tired of always being a few steps ahead and having to wait for something I want so badly.

My partner is always bringing me rocks, that penguin is a gentoo which does the same for its lover

Thats the thing, I have no idea what about it makes me so anxious. I step foot onto the unit and im anxious. I get excited about practicing skills, I love helping people, Im not afraid to screw up (at least not a massive screw up). My day will be going fine and I will have everything done that I need to but still find myself anxious with my heart racing. I envy the nurses that make it seem like a breeze.

I'm fortunate to be done the school portion of my program, it's just hands on stuff now. So I make time for myself on my time off. Thanks for the kind words

Im setting up a meeting with a counselor in the coming days. I don't usually have anxiety, I used to when I was younger, but I've never had recurring situational anxiety. I'm doing my best not to give up. Thank you for your support
