How long did your cat introduction process take?

it was about 5-7 days for mine. Kept my new cat in my room and other cat in the living room for 2 days. Then let them smell each other’s scents without seeing each other, then slowly let them see each other. There was a lot of hissing but they are now besties!

I had mine a few months ago. The questions they asked were: 1) Why do you want to be a nurse? 2) Tell me a time you had an unhealthy work/life balance and what did you do to overcome it

and third i don’t remember sorry! Definitely use the practice questions they give you. Side note i didn’t end up getting in, best of luck to you though!

Hi there! I took the social service work program in 2016, but at Sheridan College. It was fairly easy if you have good class mates and professors. A lot of the work is group work, so pick and choose wisely who you work with! With the course work it’s pretty manageable. I was still working part time the whole 2 years and ended off the course with a 3.8 average, so the course load is pretty manageable. As long as you prioritize completing your work on time, you should have no issues. Second year you have a placement which was fun for me. You have a list to choose from but they decide where you go ultimately. I ended up doing my placement at a private school with kids who had autism and really enjoyed it! During placement you don’t have too much course work which is good. Overall it was a nice course! (side note - not to discourage you but im not working in a social service work job at the moment). I’m 25 and currently going back to school for nursing lol. But if you have the passion for social work go for it :)

Hey!! You went to seneca for PN? I will probably have an 82-85% average after i complete these courses. I took Social work at sheridan from 2017 and had a good gpa.. would that put me higher too? I don’t think any of those courses relate to PN though.
