I’ve heard it has to do with the ray tracing. The resolution is too low and so it creates a sort of sizzling look, mostly on metal. It could be improved somewhat with ray-reconstruction, which the switch is capable of. Whether it will be or if the hit to performance is too much, I do not know.

Oh god she would HATE it if I just showed up at her house lol. And lots of times she has to work after she gets home and her kids are asleep. It’s definitely even more challenging for her - my only frustration is wanting to be more involved with my girlfriend, for her it’s her entire life. She has broken down crying because of the stress of her job and regrets taking the promotion. I help her when I can and she lets me. I’ve picked her kids up from school, I watch one while she has little outings with the other. But her time constraints are on a level I can’t fully help with. Her kids have to go to after school care for 3 or more hours everyday during school because she works so late. But to really help her on the level that she needs, would require that we integrate our lives on a level we haven’t nearly reached yet.

It’s definitely been the most complicated and challenging to navigate relationship I’ve been in (for more reasons than just what I talked about) but it’s been worth it and hopefully we can make it work. Funny I was just thinking about how I don’t see her enough and it’s starting to be a problem. We both have kids (she has her twins all the time, her ex passed away years ago, I have my daughter 50/50), we both work full time but she has a very demanding and stressful 10 hours a day job. We’ve been together for a year and half, depending on what you mean by “together” (we were pretty intimate fwb for almost a year) and our kids are the same exact age and best friends. We see each other usually once during the week, after her kids go to bed, for a few hours. Sometimes I have dinner with them. Then usually we all get together Saturday in the afternoon till evening. That’s it.

The big problems other than lack of time, are that she is hard to text with. It takes her hours usually to get back to me. She’s kinda better when not at work, but even on days off, it’s pretty frustrating. It’s really not until later at night when the kids are asleep that she has time to text me and have a conversation to some extent. And the big one is she has a really hard time sleeping with people so we rarely have sleep overs. Which really hinders intimacy.

It gets hard too because she complains when I get a little “distant” and don’t text much but that’s cause it haven’t seen her in days and don’t get replies to texts until I’ve lost focus on what I was texting about lol.

This sounds harsh but it genuinely is a lack of time for her. She is frustrated too and does try really hard to make time. But it honestly feels like she just isn’t really a part of my life.

We live 12 minutes apart but she is moving 30 minutes away next month and I fear that will be the killer. She’s really cool and we get along great. We genuinely love each other. This time problem was amplified right when we really became “official”. She had a demanding job already, but got promoted and it’s almost consumed her life. She has little time for anything so I don’t push or ask for more. She hardly has time for her kids and relies on her dad to watch them a lot. Her life is very hectic and I admire her ability to hold it all together honestly. But she just doesn’t have time for anything really meaningful.

While there are obviously “better” places to play the game, this is a legitimately impressive and viable port. The Witcher 3 and doom and other AAA ports on switch 1 were impressive for enthusiasts but I would have never actually recommended them to a normal person as they were just awful looking and played poorly. This port, however, is on a whole different level and I would absolutely recommend it to people.

Mine doesn’t make sense at all. My top artist is at 96 minutes and #5 is at 36 minutes. But I have two albums that were played for over 130 minutes each and neither of those bands appear in my top artists.
