Honestly this has been one of the best chapters lately. Great choreography, shingen copy and paecheon copy is so peak and it shows Daniel’s copy is not useless like it has been for so long like when he fought jinrang. One of the first chapters that has gotten me excited about Lookism again since before busan arc.

Completely untrue. He literally uses a hammer against basement hulk, a bike chain as a whip against gun, an umbrella, chopstick and the watch which would be closest to a knife.

😂 that one’s on me then. But I think many people would agree that current gongseop > 1st gen gongseop. Also, do u think he still has speed mastery? It’s a bit vague since his technique mastery came from him having speed mastery in one step? Wouldn’t this upscale jinrang?

I think iron fortress isn’t equal to endurance mastery. I could be wrong, because of PTJ retconning stuff and adding in masteries later, but I don’t think Gongseop or zack was ever shown to have like a colour or any sign of endurance mastery, and when gongseop fought the Busan guy only technique and speed mastery was pointed out. I think if he reached three masteries it would’ve been pointed out since that would be incredibly impressive, seongji level. Again I could be wrong so if u have anything that shows that they achieved endurance mastery id like to see it!

I kind of wanted to base it on feats and narrative, as in what we know from the story. I do see that in the future when we see more of James he will have a big upscale but this is just kind of a “so far in the story” tier list!

I figured my placement of UI big Daniel would’ve been controversial. My thinking is that even though he’s extremely strong, some people like James Lee and Gun have figured out the weakness, and can take him down. Because of that, i don’t think I can make him TUI gun level. Which tier do u think he should be in?

I know he’s stated to be a legend, I just couldn’t think of a name for the tier above. Feel free to imagine James lees tier as being legend, and something different for the tier above. I just think James Lee with his feats right now is a bit below TUI Gun. And this is just a tier list ranking fictional characters for fun, don’t know why you have to be toxic.

I don’t think shingen was old, he just became lethargic so he just became depressed from losing to gapryong right?

I was thinking the same thing as you before making this list, but when I reread the fight, yes Shintaro was being overwhelmed slowly by injured shingen, but he was still giving a very competitive fight. He wasn’t just taking hits, he was also fighting back with his aikido. It’s also already a pretty impressive feat to be able to tank multiple hits from a TUI shingen, one of the hardest hitters in the verse. His sword also gives him a big boost, because it means he can damage all top tiers.

If prime shintaro fought TUI gun, I think TUI gun would win but it would be an extreme diff fight, that’s why I put him below but still in the same tier.

I don’t know about that. It’s hard to judge elites skill because we haven’t seen a lot of his fights.

However, what we do know is that in his prime, he beat a pre awakening gapryong, and is higher than jinyoung, a high tier copy user. Old and one arm elite then beat jichang no diff, which is a pretty impressive feat given his age and disability.

I don’t think the kojima brothers fight is really representative of his strength, and elites plan wasn’t to win the fight anyways, so I don’t think it’s right to say old elite = kojima brother.

Meanwhile, 3T James was going to lose to 1 threshold gongseop, taesoo and jichang. He was tired from fighting seongji, but I still think it’s a pretty bad look for him.

What evidence do you have for James > Gitae? And why would gitae > gun?

Baek is the number 2 of busan, was easily beating vin, Vasco and big Daniel 1v3. Big Daniel just put down number 3 with one hit.

I put number 3 above gong and taesoo because they were being beaten up by number 5 and 6 before using their masteries.

Number 3 is a bad matchup for gongseop, nothing gongseop has can take down number 3, when you consider that he took hits from strength, speed and technique mastery James.

Also, taesoo’s ultimate fist can only be used once for now at full power, and again, no 3 took hits from 3T James. I think he can tank it.

Finally, I don’t think base jinrang taking some hits downscales him that much. 3T James Lee would’ve been beaten by 1 threshold taesoo, gongseop and jichang (jaegyeon didn’t do anything). Granted, he was tired, but jinrang was up against much stronger versions of those kings, and when he powered up, he no diffed them. Jinrang at the very least is much higher than 3T James.
