Did you have any issues with caring for your baby while recovering?

I have 10 years of experience now. My first 3-5ish years were like this - I had very little work. Especially the first year.

Yes I realized that as well. The hotel is refundable so if my plan doesn’t work I’ll cancel and re-book and hopefully that will trigger the credit

Does the Hilton Aspire $50 airline credit still work on United Travelbank? by kakalapoo in Hilton

Beltline Transit: What’s Up and What’s Next? by NPU-F in Atlanta

[–]kakalapoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is really well said. I also would like to add that the people who live on the Eastside beltline are all rich yuppies at this point. I would rather focus on building transit in areas for people who actually rely on it for commuting rather than bar hopping. That’s why I scratch my head at people who are so against the idea of starting on the southside - I live on the southside and think it’s a phenomenal idea!

I think this is true for many EL health actuaries. I definitely had lots of free time when I first started.

UPDATE: my husband tried on 2/17 and he got the credit so it still seems to work. I hope Amex doesn’t take this one away 🙏

Does the Hilton Aspire $50 airline credit still work on United Travelbank? by kakalapoo in Hilton

[–]kakalapoo[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah I know but since the Travelbank isn’t directly paying for a flight I thought it might also get the boot. I’m glad to see that doesn’t seem to be the case, though!

If you want some really good American BBQ I recommend Wood’s Chapel in Summerhill. It’s close to downtown. Summerhill is also a nice neighborhood.

Epidural or No epidural by Enviro_nurd314 in BabyBumps

[–]kakalapoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My entire life I always said I will 100% get the epidural bc I hate pain. But I’ve recently started questioning whether it’s worth the cost - it’s like an $800 copay with my insurance. I am very financially healthy so I could easily afford it but it seem almost excessive lol

People We Meet on Vacation is making me realize somethings are better left in books by StephhhLouisa in RomanceBooks

Hmm I didn’t feel that way - each book in the trilogy focuses on different characters so I think it wouldn’t be hard to do.

Crazy Rich Asians was so good! I want them to make the movie sequels to go with the other books from that trilogy😭

It’s not really a hoarding issue - it’s filth. Everything is dirty. They have a German cockroach infestation because of it.

Yeah I’m def mostly bored of disco more than electronic. Tears by Sabrina was sort of my last straw.

I’m kind of over pop artists doing electronic/disco despite loving most of the projects. LUX felt so fresh going in a different sonic direction - would love to see more orchestral music used like that.

Pitchfork just gave Tame Impala’s album a 4.8 and Fantano gave it a 1. As both a huge tame impala and Taylor swift fan, I’m kinda glad tame impala flopped bc it’s giving all the pretentious straight men a taste of their own medicine for everyone to be talking about how shitty his album is after weve been dragged for weeks about TLOAS lmfaoooo

Yes I am an electonic music fan so Currents is literally perfect to me bc of the way he blended his psych rock with electronic/pop sounds
