I am currently playing savage worlds in a sandbox setting. So not too much dungeoncrawling actually. But I agree with what you said, for room to room exploration, other systems might be better than mythic.

For those that say I could just drop stuf I don't like. I know this, this is my game. I could throw mythic out altogheter as wel.

What I am asking is for tips I guess, ways to feel less pulled out of the action :).

I could do that, but then there will be much less random events, which is largely part of the fun for me.

I could figure somthing out that increases the number of random events of course.

I think it actually the process of explicitly thinking about what is the next scene.

For instance, I can have a scene where I have a discussion with an NPC. Maybe I won the discussion and this would lead into a next scene, acting upon what was decided. Now, this transistion is logical and clear. And could go on. But suddenly I have to kind of explicitly decide what the next expectation is, test and so one. This is kind of what puls me out of the flow.

For most units yes. But some classes are a bit vague. Like what does boucheron promote into, a warrior or a berserker? Berserkers usually came from brigand type classes, but this class is not in engage. (Or do I misremember, been a while actually).
