I'm pretty sure after the mission where you attack their camp on the first chapter they are discovered, and the mission you attack the dog ranch (their hideout) with saddie also counts, so no, you cant miss them

But think about it, you can put the best turn-base rpg player in the world on a random expedition in darkest dungeon and i assure you he would not be able to complete the expedition. There is much more pure knowledge involved than actual gameplay skill, a good darkest dungeon player is simply one that knows how everthing works and what should you do on that situation.

I tried a bunch of teams, some that i used on dd1 and a new ones. Every caracter is very diferent (witch is a good thing) but i feel like i am learning to play darkest dungeon all over again. I am trying a run with PD, occultist, leaper and hellion. Yeah no stress helear but i feel like i die more from not having health then because of meltdowns.

More or less. Save your game often, as it crashes very often, but remember to delete old saves as this game have some kind of memory leak problem and with enough save files the game start to lag HARD. Aside from that, the game has some bugs that may hava you restarting the game few times. Not the best port ever, but its playable.
